75th intake of HMAS Leeuwin was in April 1981. I am not sure of the exact number of young men that entered the RAN that day but I would not mind knowing. The 76th intake has a very good web site and that has lead to my wondering what happend to us all.

The Naval Officer Commanding Western Australia Area assumed administrative responsibility for all naval establishments in 1972. This position was located initially in Fremantle and later at HMAS Stirling on Garden Island off the WA coast.
