I never thought of it that way, but I think you're really, really right.

I definitely agree she loved England more than either of the boys because she
refused to marry EITHER until the king was coming home, and she only married
Robs because she knew she was dying. I don't think it makes it ok what she did,
but I understand her motivations a lot better.


I wrote this mainly because I think Marian killed herself in ep 13 of S 2
because she was afraid of having someone try to clip her wings. You can't do
that to a girl like Maz. I also believe she loved Guy and Robin but nowhere near
as much as she loved England.
