Frequently ask questions! Wheee! What fun!!!!!

1-Why is this group dedicated to only the characters Sir Guy and Lady Marian
interact with?

A-They're my favourite characters in the show, I hope they get together, and
stay together! I think there is still hope for Guy :) Also, Yahoo doesn't
provide enough space to cover all of the characters, so I decided to focus on
these two. Perhaps if yahoo added more space, 100 mb just isn't enough for HQ
screencaps, returned the picture upload tool and sub-album feature I may add
more characters.

2-Why can't members add their own images?

A-It's easier for me to do it as I've got a particular way to add stuff. But
moderators can have whatever pic they like on the mainpage.

3-What is the moderator's job?

A-Change the mainpage, post stuff, create polls, promote the groups.

4-How do I become a moderator?

A-Write to me, tell me what you can do to help the group, etc.

Have been ill for the last two days and while off decided to watch all
of the first series of robin hood!!!

My fave Guy moment was when he gave marion the horse in 'Peace! Off!'.
i loved cause guy was SO happy!!!!!

My fave Robin moment: i thought he was really good when Roy had just
been killed and he had a face of comp;lete suprise. it was soooo sad...

my fave marion moment had to be, this was soooooo very very hard, when
she was talking to Guy in the corridor after she had been to see the
reverend mother in 'the tax man cometh'. it was amazing acting on both
sides and she was great, so cold to guy

Those were all great moments. I feel like kicking myself because I took this file down because no one was contributing to it. I might have to put it back up :)

As you may have already noticed, we just rolled out a release today that contains the much anticipated "Library" feature. This feature is the photos, files, and links solution that we've been working on.

Key improvements over the files, photos, and links features on Classic Groups include:

- MODERATION: You're now able to moderate all types of content posted to the Library, not just photos as in Classic Groups.

However, in this release moderation is a bit like pregnancy. It's either all the way on (for all three types of content and for everyone in the group) or all the way off. We're not yet able to offer the ability to moderate (or unmoderate) specific members the way we do with messages.

The setting to turn moderation on, as well as default settings for the Library, can be found, not surprisingly, in Management.

- FOLDER PERMISSIONS: You now have the option to make any folder public (so that anyone can see what's inside, including non-members), member only, or moderator only (But note, you can't put a folder with less restrictive permissions inside one that is more restrictive).

And you can separately decide who can contribute to a folder: members or moderators only.

- NESTED FOLDERS: You can now nest folders within folders for photos as well as links and files ( happy Frank? :) ).

- MIXED MEDIA FOLDERS: No more segregation of photos in one place, files in another, and links in a third. Now you have the option to mix different types of media about a subject in a single folder.

- SORT: You can now sort items in a folder by file type, title, name, file size, and date posted.

- INTEGRATED MESSAGE ATTACHMENTS: Attachments posted in messages (using the web interface) are now stored in a "Media from Messages" folder bringing all these attachments together in a single place and enabling copying from one folder to another.

- IMPROVED UPLOADER & SLIDE SLOW: It's now faster and easier to upload files and photos, and it's easier and more fun to view the photos once they're online.

- DRAG & DROP: You now have the option to move files from one folder to another (or to copy from the "Media from Messages" folder) through a desktop like drag and drop interface.

But along with these improvements, there are also some features that are not yet implemented. They include:
- The ability to automatically notify members when you add an item to the Library.
- The ability to create "private" folders that only one person can contribute to.
- The option to give members the ability to create folders.
- The option to copy files from one folder to another.

A big thank you to the all Groups team members who have been have been hard at work on this one! It's a biggie.

But that's not all that is happening today: the release also includes a number of other important bug fixes and changes including:
- Restoring the ability to send attachments via email in the same way you can on Classic Groups (although these attachments will not (yet) be stored on the site, in the way they are on the Beta if you post via the web).
- Fixing the bug that has been causing multi-word message searches not to work (though searching by email address still doesn't work, even for moderators).
- Enabling members to update the display of their age, gender, and location (as well as profile image and name) directly from the Preferences page.
- Fixing the Customization bug that causes the page to hang when you try to edit new modules without first publishing them.
- Restoring the masking of email addresses in the message archive in the same way it is done today on Classic Groups.
- Further tightening the Messages section to get more content onto the page.
- The return of the ability to view messages headers ("view source" on Classic).
- Making the link for promoting a member to moderator or owner status more visible.
- Some renaming for clarity including "conversations" back to "messages" and "Moderator Actions" to "Approve-Ban-Promote-Fix".

So. What did everyone think of "For England" ?

To me it was the best G/M episode of season 2. Guy clearly loves Marian and is not just trying to woo her so he can have heirs.

Vasey is certainly getting nastier and is really making the "dark side" very seductive to Gisborne by promising to make him a lord.

It was good to see Maz with her dad again, but I'd like to see an ep with her and him together, having a conversation on their own.

Best characters this ep.

Allan, John, Vasey Harold, Guy, Marian and Will.

Most improved. Much

Needs improving-Robin. Jonas cannot do Robin. I think Joe Armstrong would have made a more believable Robin. To see Jonas in a show where he does some great acting, see Ghost Squad. He is grouse as in that.

Meh character-Djaq. She didn't have much to do in this ep.

Favourite scene/s? All of the G/M scenes of course! The harold & Edward scene and the cheeky R/M scene with the hair pin.

Odd costume-Guy changes costume 3 times in this ep. It looks like they gave RA a different horse too, and I'm not talking about that nice light bay he was riding.

Guy normally rides a brown horse. This one was black.

1-Put a disclaimer, summary, title and rating on all submitted fan fics before
posting.

2-Do not add your own pics to an album, please send all pics to Leah Day, the
owner of the group, but only if they are a still or a pose, Leah prefers to add
her own pictures/screencaps and adds them in a very specific way.

3-Please ask Leah before using screencaps for whatever you want to use them for.
You can have as many as you like, but only if you ask first.

4-If you want to become a moderator, please send Leah an email off-site, telling
her why and what you can do for the group.

5-Not everyone is a Robin and Marian shipper. There are fans who prefer Guy and
Marian. You may say why why you dislike a character/s. But please be mature
about it, we can't all be the same, that would be dull as.

6-Try not to lurk too much. Yes, big pain, but the mod/s of the group work hard
to make the group the best group possible. We'd also love it if you'd come in
and say "Hi"
Even if you don't feel like discussing RH, feel free to post an "OT, off topic
messaage" Just not 24/7

7-Please feel free to post links to videos or music. Even install them in the
files section, but you must "MUST" credit the orginal creators/owners of the
clips.

8-If you want a specific picture or artwork posted on the mainpage, please let a
moderator know and they will post it for you.
Note, the artwork must be your own creation.

9-Do not harrass other members. If a member feels that he or she is being
bullied, please contact a moderator. The same goes for mods.
Leah tries to update as often as she can, but she has a life to. Please do not
send her any "hurry up" messages.

10-Before creating polls please check the poll section to make sure that the one
you have in mind hasn't already been created.

There is a contribution album in the groups for fans and co-moderators to donate
pictures. It's only for stills and poses from the show, as the owner of the
fanabse prefer to provide her own screencaps, you get better results if you do
your own, but she'd love help with gathering stills and poses from the series
anything as long as it has something to do with Sir Guy or Lady Marian.

Wow, those eps were great. Again, Jonas was trying his best. But it still seems to be the every character is better then RH show.

Disturbing scene. Ep 3, childhood. Guy begging for his life brought the sook out in me.

Favourite scene-mmm. Defenitely all of the Guy & Maz scenes. Or the Guy & Allan scenes.

Ep 4, the angel of death. Robin and the posioned Vasey, hysterical! Keith seems to make the actors shine when he shares a scene with them.

Utter bollicks. Ep 4 Robin shooting the bowls out of the outlaws hands. That was crap.

So who is looking forward to ep 5? Ep 6 looks good too. Apperantly Gizzy will have a change of costume.
