I think the rat in Charlotte's Web was Templeton? Apparently black
hooded rats are also called Japanese Hooded...so I guess that fits
somehow :)

Where are you planning to get your rats from for your rattery? I got
my two girls from Brisbane as I wanted some DownUnder Spotted rats
and there weren't any in Victoria. I know that there are a few new
colours and markings in Australia such as powder blue, blue, blue
agouti, blazed, DownUnder Hooded, DownUnder Spotted, DownUnder
Hooded/Spotted, DownUnder Berkshire, Manx (can anyone think of any
more?). And then there are the colours and markings that have been
around for ages such as cinammon, mink, black, silverfawn etc. and
the hooded, berkshire and self varieties.

Have you contacted the NSW Fancy Rat & Mouse Club? They're in Sydney
and would be able to tell you which breeders have what types and
