Thanks for all your help! Yes, Templeton was the name of the rat in
Charlotte's Web, thanks for clearing that up! I was so relieved when
I read that, it had been bugging me.
I don't know where I'm going to get my ratty from yet, I only know of
one place that sells rats at the moment and I dont even know if they
are a licensed breeder. I hadn't considered buying one from another
state, I didn't even know it was possible. It's sounding like a good
possibility at this point though, because I can't seem to get a hold
of any rat breeders in my area, or even in Sydney for that matter.
And wow, you can tell I'm new to the rat world because all those
colours and markings you just listed are completely foreign to me! i
wouldn't be able to tell a DownUnder Hooded from an agouti right now.
Thanks for the advice about the NSWFRMC, I'm going to join as soon as
I can! It's handy that it's based in Sydney so I can attend meetings
and shows. And I'm also going to contact them and see what they can
tell me about breeders in Sydney, thanks for the idea!
