I have absolutely no idea about guinea pigs, but I recently did a
little bit of research for a friend of mine who has two guinea pigs
for her kids and I found this great site called AllExperts:

It's got e-mail addresses of people you can e-mail for advice on your
guinea pigs - I'm sure you could get some answers to your questions
there.
