> Hi,
I have have been owning Rat's and mice for the past three years, and
also breed only the best of the friendly rat breeds. as a new born rat
it's still got the taste for it's mothers milk so every day you can
give him/her a half a cap of full cream milk (not cold) for the first
couple of weeks because their bones are still growing as our childrens
do.Now with the food DON'T!!!! give them freah produce just yet untill
you think they have fully grown other wise they will get the runs,
Rats also hate grains and seeds, as you will waste you money buying
it. they love dryed fruit mixtures, i buy the mixture from big w
peter's (RSPCA) Brand. As adults i feed them dryed meat chunks once a
week for their iron levels, fresh meat if you ;like but it's going up
in price at the moment dame. dog or cat biscuits, the basic cheap gold
fish food flakes for a treat as well as strawberries yum. Also they
need their teeth sharpened so make sure there's a small dog bone in
their quarters.oh and of couse fresh water daily other wish if you
don't change the water they cold catch a flew unless you filter the
water. If you would like to chat just message me .
Thanks Mattie
