Re: AMRIS Rodents & Rabbits Re: your pet rats

Hello there, thanks for the information its helpful, as i said i have looked
on the net for information and everyone says different things so i wasnt sure
what i was doing is right, they are babies at the moment, they are about the
same size as my pet mouse so im not sure what age they would be, you might no.
I have been feeding them fresh cooked vege's the last few nights, they eat it
all up but i will stop that if you say they get the runs, it hasnt yet tho...
Also i keep changing their bedding cos i read different things people do and
say that is harmful to them so i am using paper towel for bottom of cage and a
big mitten for there bed at the moment till we can make some hammocks for the
bigger cage we are going to make this week. im still not sure on the sex of
these 2, the petshop lady says she thinks they are both female but i would like
to be sure before i end up with heaps. if i still cant tell do you think you
would be able to tell from a photo if i take 1 and send it to you.
Thanks for your help, i will eventually learn as i go along

Melinda

oh,

2 more things, to ell with one's female in the little, the females
privates are heaps closer together to the anus then the males is, and
also with some baby male rats or mice you can see a small puffy area
known as his sake or ball bag . With the bedding in summer i give them
a cooler bedding known as recycled cat litter it's made up of new's
paper and cardboard compactered, and for winter wood shavings.

Thanks Mattie P.S chat soon
