I agree 100%.

I have remained on this list for some time simply because I love animals and
like to help out every now and then if someone has a question I can answer
etc. But having rescued many animals in the past [dogs, cats, rabbits,
rats, mice, chickens amongst others...] due to neglect, I do not agree with
people breeding from their pets or from buying from pet shops. We need to
take care of the unwanted animals first! There are so many animals out
there that have been dumped and abused and so supporting people profiting
from breeding and selling just doesn't make any sense at all....

Just my two cents worth anyway....

Okay, enough's enough.
Too much talk of breeding for me on this list.
I'm from an animal shelter, see waaaaaaaaay too many animals coming in,
see too many animals put down due to the simple fact there is not enough
homes for them. There's pet shops and backyard breeders to compete with.
Please, just desex your beloved animals if you really care for them. There
are plenty of rats/mice/rabbits/guinea pigs out there from rescue
places/animal shelters if you desire another little critter to care for.
