Hi all,
My bunny bubs are looking for homes.
They have been hand reared as they were orphaned.
One is about 7 weeks old (the black baby bunny) and I have named her
Avalon.

The other is nearly 4 weeks old and still on milk feeds, Topaz is
her name (new owners can/will of course choose their own names).

I can't keep them unfortunately so am looking for homes for them in
the Melbourne, (Australia) area.

As they were hand reared, and have been handled so much, and kept
indoors with me, they are both extremely tame and friendly.
I'll get back soon to describe their emerging personalities and tell
a little more about these two gorgeous bunny babes.

But for now if anyone is interested or knows someone who may be
interested please email me privately at angiecare@... for
more details.
Their pics can be seen here:
http://groups.msn.com/AngiesArk/newbaby.msnw
here:
http://groups.msn.com/AngiesArk/babyphotos.msnw
and here:
http://groups.msn.com/AngiesArk/morebabypics.msnw

Please let me know if you're interested.

angiecare@...

Love and Merry Christmas,
Angie.

Bernie,

My girls also prefer to sit on my chest (between my breasts) but I
don't have the problem of them scratching it up.
As for keeping the toenails trim, put some sandpaper in thier home on a
shelf or ramp that they use frequently. I has kept out girls nails
trimed and polished.

Hi again Doug, hope you have had some replies already, but if not- just keep the
wound clean (betadine, detol, warm water & soap, etc...) and you can use a
band-aid, if necessary. If the bite is too big, you may require stitches, in
this case- you would have to consult a doctor. Also, if the rat happens to be
wild, you might need to have a tetanus injection- depending on how long ago it
has been since you have had one. Just email if you need more info. Hope
everything works out OK : ) Kind regards- Natalie.

Hello everyone,

Finally I have updated my website regarding the bunnies I need to
rehome. You can visit at:

http://www.geocities.com/animal_friend2002/glendasrescue.html

Don't forget to go to the second page too, link is provided on the page.
If you have difficulty locating it go to

I desperately need your help. Please send the links onto ANYONE you
know. I need to rehome these animals as soon as I can so that I can
take more in. There are quite a number of calls recently regarding
unwanted rabbits, so please help if you can.

Cheers,
Glenda

Cheers All,

Just wondering if someone can give me some tips regarding my Doofus (Dwarf bunny
age +- 1 year indoors).

Well he has decided all of a sudden that he doesn't want to eat. His litter tray
is basically empty compared to his usual "output" (hehee). He appears to have
lost some weight but otherwise is sprightly and shiny. I have tried offering him
some treats but nope. He did eat one piece of grass yesterday.

Does anybody have any idea why Doofus would just suddenly go on a hunger strike!

Cheers

Kirsten

Firstly do we actually have hares in Australia?

This baby was found in the Sydney suburbs and my friend now has it,
she thinks it is a 4 week old hare.

I think it is an older agouti domestic breed or a wild rabbit baby.

How do we tell thie diff?

Question I've been asked (below).
I need some clues, and will go to rabrefs and a few other sites for
more clues.
But would love any and all input.
Below is all that I know about this rabbit.
I've already said to remove the dog bones!

"My rabbit was spayed 2 years ago, she was 5.
I would have done her when she was a baby had I known what spaying
can prevent.
Anyway since her surgery her coat has never been the same, she is
constantly sheading.
Sometimes are worse than others but it is continual.
She eats martins pellets, oxbow grass and dog bones (she loves
them), has had them all her life and my vet knows. Why would she be
always sheading?"

Thanks (in advance),

You are welcome Sanna.
I wish I could have been more helpful, but as I live in Australia, I don't know
much about the Husky, or Topaz rats, or breeding them.
Which is why I sent you to the RatPalace website, www.ratpalace.com because it
has a list of breeders, that I know could help you.
Good luck!

   Thanks, Deb!
I've read through those pages now, and they surely were useful,
although I had seen some of them already.
The problem isn't getting info of husky anymore, but getting info of
red and ruby eyes in more specific context.
I'm positive the babies will be adorable if I get enough info to try
it out. I don't want to risk it.
I know that topaz is a very light color and could fade out
completetly in a husky, but just think about it... Those cute bulging
ruby eyes, nice blazes and absolutely irresistible characters.
*sighs uncontrollably (is that a word :)?*
