Sorry to hear about your lost files, that is usually my trick or my
husbands, although when he does it it is my workshop notes the day before I
need them!!!!! He is not popular when that happens. :-(

Any idea of where you will be staying for Christmas, I am sure we could get
a Secret Santa pack to you!!!! Even if it gets there before you?????

Speaking about works that we don't like, do you often find that once you
have completed the journey of making something that has been a challenge,
you don't necessarily dislike the piece but it was the actual journey that
was important not the piece?!?!?!

Know what you mean about samples becoming tired, I have been slowly
replacing mine with new pieces but there are still people who oooh and aahh
over the old pieces and I feel like saying what that old thing, so I agree
with you, we need to remember that fresh eyes see our work very differently
than we do.

You know I was only thinking today it's quite a few years since you and I
first corresponded and I wondered if all those years ago (about 5 -6 I
think!!) you imagined that you would be doing what you are now!!!! I know I
didn't!!!!
