Merry Xmas and Happy New Year, I am a newbie.

I am 43, married, 2 girls, 10 and 8. I work night shift as a registered nurse in Coffs Harbour, we have lived here for 8 years. We moved from Castlemaine in Victoria.

I have always been a bit crafty, starting with knitting, sewing, embroidery and crochet.

Have now moved on to quilting, beading, polymer clay, machine embroidery and FELTING.

Love the felting, nuno felting, traditional felting, and NEEDLEFELTING. Love needlefelting and love the fantastic work I have seen being done through internet browsing. Now to find the time/.

I am setting up to teach nuno felting, probably when the kids go back to school,  mid Feb. A few of my friends are very interested.

At the moment I have just finished 4 nuno scarves, a needlefelted creature, a mermaid, and I am working on a large sculpture of a mermaid.

With the sculpture I have no idea what I am doing, just muddling along.

Looking forward to getting to know fellow felters ( feltists, feltresses, feltics), what are we anyways?
