Hi Sandie and Listmates
Here is one for your box!! I have arrived back in Australia.......came home to my brother's house on 28th and was in time to have new year with the family....rather a good time after missing out on having Christmas with them all.
I have no where to felt, though. It will all have to wait until I am established into my own place. I have to go out and look for a job also.
This Friday, I am on my way down to Busselton to catch up with a few down there, including my daughter and grandchildren, whom I still have not seen. The family that I caught up with so far have been parents and brothers and a sister, all with nieces and nephews tagging along.
Whilst in Hong Kong, I bought 75metres of silk chiffon to "help" with my felting. It will take me a long time, I know to get through it all, but who
cares......I don't have to spend any more money on silks in the future.
Last night, we had 15mm rain.....what a pleasure it was to see it come down, after it being so dry, so I am told. When I arrived back here, I was dismayed to see how brown the countryside looks. We could do with more rain, and so we are all on our knees.
Best wishes to you all
Julie, who is no longer felting around the world.
