Thanks for all that information on Embellishers. It all started when
I put my overlocker in for a service....how dangerous.....actually I
sent it in with my husband...but then I had to go and check on it
because they didn't phone me..(clever sales tactics on their behalf).
To think $500 can buy an embellisher sounds great. Wasn't interested
at $1500. The store had just got them in and hadn't unpacked them so
I'm hoping to have a look today. I'll take some fleece in and will
have a go hopefully. Barb did you do your grandson's portrait on the
embellisher, is that the sort of work that it is good for.
The fact that not many people are aware of them and as a
wetfelter/needlefelter, it can open a lot of possibilities.
Meg have you got any photos of work done on your embellisher.
Yes Krishna, it would be me at the Bellingen Market. Come and say
hello. I have been keeping so busy (well it's either wool work or
housework) I still don't have a web page, but then I seem to sell as
much as I can keep up with. I spend as much time over summer as I can
preparing for the winter rush, so at this time of the year my house is
overflowing....bathtub full, bedrooms full, no room for visitors...
Dyed wooltops and mohair, spun yarn has been my greatest passion over
the last twelve months, some felting done but the winds we have had
make it hard to find a spot to work.
