Yes it was a great week! Thanks for all your work in making it happen Stacy.
 
It was good to see the members from Aussiefeltmakers, including Pat who came as a trader.
 
Before I went to the Convergence I had done virtually no felting this year due to family problems, and my craft room was in a totally chaotic state. But I have come home from the Convergence feeling very inspired and motivated. I am full of ideas for the competition and exhibition pieces that I need to produce in the next few weeks. And I am currently cleaning up my craft room so that I have enough space to work in.
 
I would love the next Convergence to be in New Zealand - I have wanted to go there for many years. And the NSW Convergence delegates have been talking about starting up a NSW Feltmakers Association so that we can host the Convergence in 2011 in NSW!

The highlights for me were the social events. There was lots of dressing up and fantastic felt to goggle at. Workshops were good. Our aims were education, socialization and inspiration.

No one put their hand up to run the next one in two years but the Kiwis are going home to discuss the possibility.
