Spoke to DH he says we use Macafee to keep the spam out. He says it happens when your email address ends up on a mailing list somehow. And the spammers just send to everyone’s addresses they have been able to obtain. Also if you accidentally open an email from weird people you don’t know that can do it too.

I always delete anything I don’t recognise and put them straight into the junk email box.
