I have been giving this matter a long think as I hate to say no as well.
How ever, I do agree with Julie, and I think AVI would get a better run for her money so to speak- if she join the felt makers list and did some more looking in her own country.
I am not sure where Avi lives, but from what I have seen of the felting community in England, I don't see it as being "not as vibrant" as here. I visited plenty and saw lots, and I suspect that she has not seen the publication of Echoes, either.
I personally feel that she could do more good by getting in touch with some of the felters over there, for relevant information. English ladies appear to do a lot of felting with a lot of different breeds than we do as well, as I have experienced.
However, I would not be mean enough to say no, she would not be welcome, but we did start this group with the idea that it would be confined to Aussie feltmakers, then later, New Zealand Feltmakers.
