Hi all,
I have been rather busy with work & My Mum over the last couple of
weeks, She had to go to hospital suddenly, but is OK now, thank
goodness.
My son, d'law and g'son came to us on their way home from a long
weekend in Canberra. They had brought Brendan's trike with them, as
he wanted to ride around Nanna & Poppa's verandah. (They live in an
apartment in Melbourne, backing on to a large park & children's
playground, but there is little freedom for little people to do their
own thing)
To cut a long story short, Brendan didn't want to go home, saying "I
want to stay here with Nanna & Poppa, you go home with Daddy to the
other house, Mumma" What a big decision for a 3yo to make!
As I had most of this week free, & Inger (d'law) had major assignment
to finish for her Master's, we decided why not?
Subsequently, lots of playing, shopping ( he needed more clothes &
footwear) going to the park, walking, cooking, helping with the
washing- including climbing a 6ft step ladder to help hang out the
washing ----- no more felting got done.
Added to this, B discovered the eggs that I had nearly finished &
claimed them to play with, deciding that lots of imaginary chickens
would hatch out from them. He had to take them to show Great Grandma
too.
Sooo, if you don't mind some eggs that have been well loved, I'll
finish them & put them through the machine. They won't be at Sandie's
til next week though
LOL Barb .
