Hello fellow feltmakers
Kerry, I just love your photos. I haven't had time to look at a lot
before today, but when I saw your work, I was impressed by the lovely
shawl that you have done, as well as by the novel waist band. The
hats are also good.
I am still working on the quilt. I am just about to start on the
third panel, which will be a different shape. If I can work out how
to upload the photos, I will put some up again.
Do you know, this dumb bunny forgot to take photos of the Easter Eggs
before sending them in. What an idiot. Anyway, I will not forget to
take photos of the ones that I receive. I am looking forward to that
immensely. It will be a lovely surprise, judging by the work that I
have seen so far in the photo album from you all.
I have done a poncho in the latest style for my grand daughter, who
will turn 12 soon. She is gonna love this, as all the young girls
seem to be wearing them now.
I have unfortunately had to cancel my plans to go to the Geelong
Forum and also the Canberra Convergence. It is a blow to me, because
I enjoy them a lot. Next time maybe!
Today I have been fiddling around making flowers to put on a scar
that I made yesterday at our FeltWEST Toss and Tell Meeting, in Craft
House, Menora, a northern suburb of Perth. We have the meetings on
the third Saturday of the month, and are all very interesting.
Keep up the felting
Cheers
Julie
