After reading your post I was wondering ABout if you should show that girls how to make their own or should you maybe say you can make them for them at a small free?
If you do a class you would only get a one time free for your hard work in coming up with the patten.
As for the computer, I make set times and stick to them other wise I will spend all day looking around!!!
I have been busy making items for the shops but as soon as something goes in, I get a call to replace it! And I never seem to get time to do things for shows or myself.
On the needle felt note- I bought needles the other day and wow what difference they make! It is amazing how different brands can be. I have never used better needles. Bought some more to try so will let you all know.
I have been trying some different things with the felt. I made a shawl using a net fabric and a belly dancer’s skirt using nuno felting techniques. The belly dancer skirt could be a new client source for us. The girls I made this for want me to teach them how to do it. They are very excited and you should see the outfits they wear now, all the embellishments. Wow.
They also want me to felt a top, with a wide band around the bottom to keep the “bosoms” in. LOL. Haven’t got to that yet.
