Re: [AussieFeltmakers] Julie's shoulder

Hi Barb
Thanks for the sympathy, re my shoulder......my physio reckons that part of the cushioning (layman's terms here) has subsided, causing the arm socket to be grating and pinching nerves when it should be rotating nicely.  It is getting better now, especially with all the treatment of stretching, heat, electric impulse and acupuncture.  But all is not out of the wars yet.......yesterday, I walked into a hole in the ground which was unseen, and broke the 5th Metatarsal in my left foot.  So have to keep off it for a while, learn to get around on elbow crutches, and considering that I live downstairs from the parking area of my units, I have a bit of a problem going up and down the stairs.  This is totally inconvenient at this time to happen to me, as I have my 14 year old granddaugher to stay with me for the weekend, and she is having to be housemaid for me.  She is here until tomorrow afternoon, so that won't be too bad.

And yes....I do have a little bit of RSI from the constant computing, but with the exercises that I do for the shoulder, it seems to be improving it.

Now, if I can think of a lot of felting that I can do whilst I am chair ridden with my foot elevated, I should be able to get a lot done, as I will have plenty of time, because I certainly cannot go to work.  Seeing is how it is compo, I do not have to worry about there being no income in the meantime.

Cheers
Julie
