Hi there Natalie, You Don't have to get to meetings, only 25-30% of members do. You might be surprised that someone in your area might be coming down. We meet 2nd monthly on 3rd Sat of month, usually, but the next meeting is on Sat 4th December (Xmas breakup) . Visitors are welcome. We also have workshops throughout the year + newsletters. Only $30/year to join :))
Where are you in Central Vic, as there are no doubt members who can teach up that way, also Annette Lizza, a founding member of Victorian Feltmakers teaches all aspects of felting, including needle felting. She would be happy to run a workshop for you , if you had some interested people (Has car so travels, she also has a daughter in Deniliquin, so could probably incorporate a workshop around a trip to see her family) she is on 0397222524 . I haven't told her about this new group yet, but she won't mind if I have given you her number, especially if you mention Barb Mewburn.
