Re: [AussieFeltmakers] What is everyone up to?

Hi Rae
I was just questioning my own memory, and could have been talking to Jenny Tate at the Retreat about you.  I wonder?????  I have known Jenny for years - I used to belong to the Bunbury Felters, and lived in Busselton for many years.  I also know MegFirman also.
I see you don't have far to go to Craft House, then.

Hi Julie
Good to hear you your foot has healed enough to get back to work - but do take care not to overuse it. I injured my knee last year and it was fine until I returned to work - it was sooooooooo hard to not do all those little jobs which require standing up and running around. Anyway take care!
Yes, I do plan on being at the Toss n Tell on the 16th and will be bringing a friend.
Your trip sounds so exciting - I haven't been to the U.S. but have been to Europe and U.K. a few times and just love the 'oldness' of it all, different cultures and of course the arts and crafts. I know you will have a wonderful time.
Don't know either Karen Wood and  Jennifer Blair. I live in Alexander Heights which is north of the city along Alexander Drive. I do know Jenny Tate from Margaret River and Meg Firman from Augusta.
Keep well and see you on the 16th.
regards
xxxRae

Hi Rae

Thanks for your concern over my foot.  It is a lot better, and I have been back at work all last week, and into the second week back, but for some strange reason, today it was hurting.  I guess these things take a while to heal, and I am just too impatient with things like that.

When I was at the Retreat, I shared a room with Karen Wood and  Jennifer Blair.  One of those ladies (can't remember which one.....I have a "senior's moment" )  mentioned that she knew you, but I thought that she said that you lived down near Binningup somewhere.  Maybe I was wrong.  Where do you live?

I will be going to the Toss and Tell day on Saturday 16th, and I definitely keep a look out for you.  It is also the AGM of the FeltWEST on Saturday 6 August, and we are looking for all of the members to attend.  It is really the only chance a lot of us members get to know what is going on  within FeltWEST, and to have our say, because we do not have any other meetings, apart from the Committee Meetings, and only the committee attend those.

I have not been doing any felting over the past week because I have been very busy elsewhere occupied.  I have quite a lot of organising to do in the ensuing weeks before the take over of the house, including finding a place to live before I am ready to go overseas.  I will not be ready to go before about October/November sometime, but I am thinking that I may even postpone it for a few more months, so that I can go over these to co-incide with their Spring, in about March of next year.

See you hopefully in another week and a half.
HELLO TO EVERYONE ELSE ON THE LIST......
Cheers
 Julie
