Hi everyone

Julie are you homesick yet.  It is reallly good to hear where you are and what you are up to.

My grandson came earlly.  I am in Sydney at the moment,  missed the birth by a couple of hours but I'm here for the housework, washing nappies, cuddling etc.  My daughter in law has come down with a temperature and is off to the doctor this afternoon.  Looks like I might have to do the night shifts as Franklin is great thru the day but testing his mum and dad at night.  Brought my feltling things down but haven't had a chance to do anythine.   Wendy will try and phone you later.  I might have to go back to Coffs for a few days and then be back in time for the Spinners and Weavers function next weekend.  Hope to catch up with some of you there.

Regards Kerry

Hi Julie

Thanks for your email and letting us know what you're doing on your trip. I'm glad all your luggage turned up safe & sound! Are you still using the wool that you brought with you from Australia or have you had to restock?

Do they use merino much in the USA or do they have other breeds for fine felting?

I had a look at the rose bag that Pat Spark made at one your workshops - it is wonderful. Maybe you could stop off in Sydney on your way home and teach some workshops here. I'm sure that ATASDA and/or the Weavers and Spinners Guild would be happy to host them.

Wishing you safe & happy travelling
Wendy

Hello Everyone

Wendy...your scarf sounds lovely and I cannot wait to get the picture.

Well, after a two week rest in Tallahassee, Florida, I set off again on the other leg of the journey around the USA.   Even though I had vowed and deceed that I would never take the Greyhound bus again, I found that it was my only option to getting to Jacksonville to catch the Amtrak train up to New Jersey.

I was up bright and early to catch the 6.15am bus, because to take the later one meant that I had only 15 minutes to get from one place to another, and they are too far apart, then to get tickets and check my baggage.  So I had to take that early train.  Well, imagine my surprise when I rocked up at the Amtrak station to find out that the train was going to be 4 hours late.  I could have taken the later bus anyway.  Never mind, I said to myself, I will just go in to Jacksonville City and have a look around.  A centre was recommended to me, and I took the bus into the Landing.  When I got there, the whole place was undergoing renovations, but still open.  Scaffolding was everywhere, but businesses were still open, and restaurants were also.  So I had lunch, did a little shopping and then when I was done, I decided to bus it back to the station, as I am not a great shopper anyway, and there is only so much I could do in the city.  When I got there, however, the estimated arrival time of my train had been shifted to being delayed a further 4 hours.  No where comfortable to sit, nothing to do, because my baggage had already been checked, no internet connections, no power points either, to recharge any batteries, and no restaurant for an evening meal at the station.  Only vending machines with chips and chocolate and soft drinks.

So on went the long wait.......the train finally arrived at 11 pm, when it was supposed to be there at 4pm.  This late arrival was due to the fact that there was a lot of rain dumped by the inclement weather off the coast of Florida, and being Hurricane season here.  I had a very uncomfortable night on a very crowded train, and very soon, the train, it was evident, was going to be held up in other places along the way up the coast.  I finally arrived in Newark, New Jersey at 11pm, went to collect my baggage, because I had to catch another train to Princeton Junction, only to be informed that my baggage was not with the rest of the Newark baggage that was unloaded from the train, and that it had gone all the way to New York.  I had to then fill out forms etc.

I was not happy about this, because it was the first and only time that I had not travelled with my overnight bag with a change of clothes and toiletries.  Anyway, thank goodness that I had gone shopping in Jacksonville, other wise I would be back in smelly clothes.

When I was met in Princeton, I had to borrow a nightgown....just as well I had my toothbrush and some  easy dry underwear.  I was really enjoying that nice hot shower that I had before going to bed in my borrowed nightgown.

This morning I rang Amtrak to find out about my baggage, and all is found, and they will even deliver it to me at my hostess's place this afternoon.  Thank goodness, as I have all my felting equipment in them, as well as clothes, and other notes, etc for the classes, and I have a class on tomorrow.

From New Jersey, I will be going up to Conneticutt, Maine, Massachusetts, New York, Saratoga Springs, Oneonta, Renesslaeville, then up to Ottawa in Canada.  Then working my way back down again through Michigan, Missouri, Pittsburg, Philadelphia again, North and South Carolina and back through Georgia and back to Florida.  By the time I get back to Florida, it should be September, and I will have to fly out to England for a few days before going to India.

So, all in all, it has been a very eventful trip, and one that I can say is full of suprises, great and not so great, and I would not trade places with anyone yet.

My very best wishes to you all

Hi Meg,
Well done, I hardly use the website.
We just stayed overnite in Augusta on our way to the Ann Beadel track and came back thru Augusta after the Nullabor. Such a lot to see, the whales & Eyre Bird sanctuary and such different country. The red sandy soil up north with the greens, whites and the Marble gums was fantastic. I would love to be able to capture it with felt or paint.
It was so cold our sleeping bags froze when we got up as did the water I spilt on the table. But lovelly clear days not overcast like Melb.
Bye,
Gini

Hi Barb

Very glad to hear things are remaining positive from your angle.  And do not worry about that business of what I call "being eccentric"  I love being eccentric myself.  When I am doing my classes here in USA, I am wearing my lime green rubber scuffs with my purple socks, so that my feet do not sweat, and my back does not ache.  I did write you an email about the scuffs....they are the rage over here at present, and so darned comfortable, but I guess I lost it somewhere, and it did not appear in my sent list of emails......I must have sent it off out there in the world of cyberspace and never to be seen again.

However, I diverse.......The real reason that I love to wear those scuffs, is that I have found that although I have the table at the correct height....waist height....I get a backache through being on the cement floors all the day on my feet.  So when I saw them and used them for the first time here, I felt wonderful the next day, where previously I had been in situations where I could hardly walk at all the next day after a workshop.  Anyway, they are available in most of the stores like Kmart and BigW and Target, I guess, as they are available in those types of stores over here (usually Cosco, or Walmart, or even in a travel store) and also where you can buy travel and sports goods.  It may be worth looking around for them if you can.

I also heartily congratulate you on the birth of your second grandchild.  I am a grandmother of two, and I know they are very delightful, even if they are getting up there in age, I can still say how georgeous they are.  Mine are 13 and 11 now.

Tomorrow, I will be having a one on one class, teaching Kathy Hays to make a Rose Bag.  She is an excellent teacher herself, and is living in Florida, and is visiting her daughter here in Tallahassee, Florida, and when she heard that I was coming here for a couple of weeks, she emailed me and asked me if I would do a one on one class for her.  My reputation as a teacher has exeeded me.(Blush).

Take care of yourself, and that back.

Best Wishes
Julie Williams

Hi Kerry,
Thank you for the reminder of Polly's website. I enjoy her free spirit and creativity.
There were so many ideas from the convergence.
I believe the Vic Convergence planning has commenced with a committee but have not heard any details yet.

Dear Meg and all

Polly Stirling came back from the Canberra Convergence all enthused about the rusting.  She did some lovely pieces and I think you will find some on her web page, www.wildturkeyfeltmakers.com.  Also check out her daughter's works (mainly handbags).  I think it is still on Polly's website.

Subject: [AussieFeltmakers] Melbourne Scarf Festival

Hi all

I went to the opening of the Melbourne Scarf Festival last night at Federation Square. Kind of fun but I don’t think I’ll bother attending the opening again. If you are near Federation Square, however, there is an installation by Catherine O’Leary – a felted office setting. It is worth a look. Don’t know how long it will be there. It is sort of opposite the side entrance to the art gallery bookshop – just down from the wine bar.

Then this morning I went to the Melbourne Scarf Market at Craft Victoria. Now this was well worth a visit! Address: 31 Flinders Lane (10am to 5,30pm). It’s open again tomorrow and Saturday. A very brief market – so if you are able to go, don’t blink or you will miss it. Here’s a link: http://www.craftvic.asn.au/scarf2006/

There were around 400 entries I was told. Didn’t seem like quite that many, somehow. They looked fabulous, all hanging down from fishing line right through the length of the gallery. It was a great mix of felt, nuno felt, knitted, crocheted, shibori died silk, and woven. From a design point of view it was so very interesting to see what people created! From a new feltmaker’s point of view, it was a good exercise in checking the quality of the felt! One entrant included the words “renown felt maker” after her name on her scarf’s tag, but the felt was a poor standard, and I felt rather embarrassed on behalf all of us other Feltmakers who may or may not be renown.

It was also an interesting lesson in pricing. Most scarves I was attracted to cost over $250. There were a few entries over $1000 and the “grand prize winner” was over $2000. Yikes! I couldn’t see how it was worth that much, not by a long shot. My friend Robyn Stickland and I agreed that most things priced under $100 would have been guaranteed a sale. When I get my act together and enter next year, I will be keeping my scarves affordable.

The festival theme this year was “pod” and the challenge, which many took up, was to include a pocket in the scarf which could be used for an i-pod or mobile phone or whatever.

Robyn and I also trekked down Flinders Lane to the City Library expecting more scarves to be displayed there. In fact there was just one huge knitted installation and lots of looms set up inviting people (kids?) to sit and weave their own mini-scarf. It was kind of cool but with benefit of hindsight I’d have given it a miss.

On another note, thanks Wendy, for joining the ATC swap. We now have five players. Hoping for a couple more! Not due till end of August!

Stacey

Hi Barb,
Sorry to hear about your back. It must be so frustrating for you but you seem to have done alot anyway.
I have just had a wonderful holiday in the outback and am feeling very refreshed.
My old patchwork group is making a baby quilt for a granchild so I was interested in your design. How amazing to be making them for your own.
Hope to see you at the next Vic Felt meeting.

Hi everyone,
Sorry I haven't been online for ages, but things have been happening, as
they do.
Sandy, I hope that you are feeling a little better now, & beginning to
come to terms with the loss of your friend.

I have been off work since April, my back just became too painful to
work. I had a Ct scan and found out that I had a T12 fracture of my
spine, that I would have sustained when I fell at the convergence in
Canberra, just as Iwas finishing packing up my car to come home! I had
been carrying this for 6 months, along with several bulging discs lower
down. It had all been exacerbated in Feb, when I leaned into my car to
get my handbag out. As my work is as an RN in aged care, it involves a
lot of pushing of a very heavy drug trolley around on carpeted floor,
along with resident contact, which can be unpredictable, at best.

I had been working extra shifts, as we are supposed to be going overseas
for 6 1/2 weeks in September. that's still up in the air. I hadn't been
felting, as I was conserving my energy to work, using a back brace.
Since early Feb, things became even more difficult, until I had to stop
work altogether.

I have been working out in the hot hydro pool, doing water therapy 3x
weekly, and walking with my Exerstriders (Nordic poles) most days.
Together with other therapy, this has taken up a lot of my time. The
pain won't subside, though, which is a bugbear that i'll have to live
with, I think :-( .

Lately, I've been doing a little felting, made a few pieces of flat felt
at the retreat . One, I have fashioned into a hat ( a bit like an
African Turban). the others will become a vest or two.

I have just finished making a cot blanket for our new grandson, Flynn,
born on Sunday. It's cherry red, with brightly coloured balloons
floating around randomly. His name and birthdate are in natural white,
which have been put hap-hazzardly on the blanket, as a child might place
letters on a magnetic board. the balloon strings were embroidered in
natural white baby wool (In the room, whilst we were visiting the new
parents and bub), as was the blanket stitched edge. I had made the
blanket a few weeks ago, but not decorated it. Thank goodness for the
embellishing machine, as I was able to do most of that yesterday. The
blanket was made from one of Chrissy's needled batts, folded in half &
felted. It's 18.5 micron, I think, & very soft.

I had my other grandson, Brendan who is 4 1/2, for the last week. He is
thrilled to have a boy cousin. B&I have had a great week. we managed to
card and felt a pair of slippers for him on Tuesday.(it was hard work
carding the fleece, which had been dyed ) . I still have the fulling to
go, so hope to get that done tomorrow, so that I can give them to him on
Thursday.

Rae, I haven't forgotten your scarf, it's been on the back burner for
ever, I got stuck, so didn't touch it for months. I'm ready to get on to
it again, so Friday's the day, I hope. :-[

With all that's going on, I'm sorry, I can't participate in the
exchange, at this time, as I don't really want to drag out all my tubs.
I'm trying to finish off the ufo's, while I have the opportunity.
I was too tired & in too much pain when I was working, so am hoping to
be able to do a bit at a time, now. :-)

I hope to be able to travel to Sale this month, to see Annemeke Mein's
exhibition, which should be fantastic. I have always been in absolute
awe of her wonderful, inspiring work. She spends 12 months on each major
work. I'm blowed if I would have the patience to do so.

At least I shall be ok financially, as I have income protection
insurance,  + insurance for my car loan, whilst I'm off injured.( I have
no sickleave left). This has been a necessary drain on finances that has
really paid off. For anyone who is in paid employment, & has loans, it
is a necessary evil, as we never know when we are going to have
something happen, as sickness or accident, which prevents us from having
an income. I learnt this a long time ago, when a friend had an accident
at home, not long after taking out a new mortgage, as her husband was
unemployed at the time, they nearly lost the house.  My husband, who is
self employed, has it as a matter of course. I do hope all of you out
there who are deriving your living from your felting and related work
are insured too, even if it is hard to pay the premiums. You never know
when you might suddenly need it. ----Yeah, I know, another thing to cost in.

Take care, all of you, happy felting

BarbMewburn ( :-* )

The list has gone quiet again! What is everyone up to?

I am going a bit crazy as I have to prepare for 2 stalls and make 3 items for competitions in the next week! (And it's school holidays LOL)

I had everything planned out perfectly, except that the nuno felted scarf that was supposed to take 2 days, took 5 days instead (and still needs some finishing touches). It is the most complex and embellished work I have attempted so far, and was so intense & exhausting to work on that I could not do more than 2 hours a day on it. It is based on an ocean theme and is embellished with shells, silk crunchies, silk tops, silk hankies, English Leicester, mohair, hand spun wool and angelina. It has quite a few pieces cut out of it, some of which have been filled with contrasting pieces of silk fabric. I am entering it in the Sheep & Wool Show in Bendigo, & might also enter it in the local art show just for fun. I will post a picture when I get a chance.

Hope everyone is well, and happily felting.

You can add my name to the tutors list. I teach hat making, both wet and needle felted and other wet felting using batts mostly. I call my felting "Body Friendly Felting" as I am always looking for ways to take the hard work out of felting.

Hi Sandie

This is a very quiet week for me, as I am spending it with my aunt and cousins in Tallahassee, Florida, and having no classes to do.  I did have one to do a couple of days after I arrived, but that is done now, and here I am trying to recuperate after three months of pretty intensive travelling and tutoring.

I am also trying to sort out my itinerary for the next three months, which will be travelling just as intensely (if not, more so) up the east coast of USA into Canada and back down again through Michigan and further down, then cutting across to the east again, continuing down back to Florida.  I leave USA on 20 September this year, and fly to London for 4 days, then on to Dehli in India for the next 6 months.  After that, I will be going to Japan for a month (I am hoping to co-incide my visit there with Jorie Johnson, along with many other of my friends there.  From Japan, I will then be coming to Sydney......so I should imagine that would be about in the time frame of May/June next year.  I also have a sister living in Brisbane that I would like to visit again, so will do that before returning to the West.

So, Sandie, in the meantime, my name can be added to the list of tutors, but bear in mind that I will be back in Australia a year from now.

I have in the meantime, had invitations from 26 people up the coast of USA and Canada, to visit, some of which are workshop visits.  Today is the day that I have to strain the brain to work out where to first, second, third, etc etc etc

It is very warm here in Florida, so things are done very slowly.   I hope that I may be able to concentrate properly.

Warm Wishes to everyone

as up to date as possible!

I want to upload the tutors list, I have Wendy's details and my own, come
on guys you must have other tutors you can recommend!!! I am emailing Jenny
Hopper to ask her to be added and I am going to talk to Carol Dival and
Margaret Connor.

Pat can you send me some info so I can add you. Julie will add your email
address if you like otherwise will add you when you get back! You are
coming back arent you!!!! LOL

If I have missed an event I apologise it is a work in progress, please do
not take offence, add the event or let me know, I am far from perfect!
(Though dont tell my hubby that I said that!!) Also if I have missed anyone
for the tutors list, let me know, maybe you have been lurking in the
background hiding the fantastic talent you have! Now is the time to come
out of the closet so I can put your name out there.

Enjoy the rest of your week!

 Hi everyone!
Barb, so sorry to hear that your back is not feeling well.
Hope it returns to its senses soon.

Fine micron fibre, well i have not felted with anything lower than 19 merino and 21 alpaca so far.
Both are wonderfully fast felting , but the alpaca is always a bit hairy.
I card my own alpaca and most of the sheep's fibre too.
I have yet to find a well carded and easy felted non shading alpaca from a shop and have only played with process sheep from our fibre swaps last year- LOVEed  the bright green merino top the best.
I love fast felting alpaca as i much rather do the design work and making up of than the felting itself.
So i am a hot and cold/ olive soap /bamboo and bubble wrap person. ! Lol

As for still being able to get high micron sheep and alpaca for that matter, just go to the farm.
Most of the you can get this type of fibre free.
I do with all my sheep and most of my alpaca from friends after November each year.
Many kg's are just left to rot or are burned.

Now not real sure yet if we were asked to talk about are selves, but just incase...... I sell my felted work at two open art shows each year in Castlemaine, victoria.- summer and winter.
I do not teach, but could help with some ideas if needed.
I felt using mostly alpaca and tussah silk and have started to add bits of Himalayan cat fur and mohair to my works.
I always use shop bought or hand spun fancy knitting yarns with lots of silver or gold threads, as i also weave an spin.

Well i think that's it for this post.
Take care Nat

Hi Barb, sorry to hear about your back.  I missed not going to the retreat but things are a bit busy at the moment.  What do you think of felting in the washing machine.  It could save your back and you would be able to continue what you love to do.

Regards Kerry.

Hi All,
thanks for the emails.
In answer to Kerry, my problem is not rolling, particularly, as I can do that upright, with my felting table very high. I only use light pressure, most of the time. If I happen to be doing anything heavier, I tie it in several places, with a long tail on the centre. I then hold the tail in one hand & push the roll across the table as I take a step forward, then pull it back with the tape as I step back. This is a very smooth movement on the smooth table top. It doesn't take a lot of effort, especially if I have plastic around the out side. I only use the weight of the roll to felt, these days. All this is done in an upright position. By changing arms & feet , then sitting & rolling with my feet or better still, walking on the item in time to some swing music or Neil Diamond(that tells my age), it gets done easily. I tend to push the roll directly on to the floor, when I want it there, & then pull it around with the tail, or push it with my feet. I don't lift them too often. (Steve gets that job, very reluctantly.)

Much of my felting is done as small prefelts, first, if I'm not using a batt as the base. (My preferred action, these days). Laying up is my biggest problem, as it's the leaning over that causes so much pain in my middle & lower back. I have strong arms & shoulders though :-D .

Yes, I have used the washing machine, I'm about to put a pair of slippers in there tomorrow. They've been waiting all week.

This last 8 days, Steve & I have done over 2000kms, mostly in my car. Not much else has been done at home, but I have managed to get a couple of walks in and done some washing. We've had quality time with both our grandsons. Brendan loves his little cousin, already. Mum & bub are doing very well. He's putting on weight nicely. As he's a little leech, that won't be a problem. We had to go to a funeral in Bendigo, on Wed (8hrs driving round trip) . It's always a time of mixed feelings, isn't it, when you catch up with friends and their families that you haven't seen for so long. For the lady who died, she was 82, had had Alzheimers for 5 years and had suffered a massive stroke. For her it was a blessing. The family will cope.
she was the mother of Steve's oldest friend.

We also used the time to drop in to the hospital in Melbourne, to see Mum & Bub. We had to go to see them today, so Steve could help Mick put a window in. Unfortunately, it wasn't 3rd time lucky, as the joiners had still stuffed things up.  Our perfectionist son is most unhappy. Their house is a shemozzle, with stuff everywhere, so we hope he has it all sorted out before Flynn is crawling. I guess he will be like our 4, learning about danger very quickly (Flynn, that is). Ours had to, in the 70's. They turned out fine. (& very independant).

Next week, I have a few days that I can get to the UFO's I need to finish some vests, as I'm fed up with being cold. I have to finish Rae's scarf & Brendans slippers. I must start felting presents for the holidays. Scarves will be good, for most of them , as they will be going into their winter. My cousin is into apples, her nickname is Scattyapple, for obvious reasons. I'm going to make her an apple hat or beret, with a grub coming out of it ;-) . She will love that. She's like me, bold enough to wear something different, without worrying what anyone else.  thinks.

I'm going to try to get to the scarf festival in Melbourne, I've managed to be working each time it has been on so far. I haven't checked how long it will be on for.

Well, it's nearly 2.30 am, so I'd better get some sleep.

ttfn, all of you. LOL&L  Barb

on all the emails. Are the exchanges finished or can I still join in?
Barb, I am so sorry to hear you are in such terrible pain with your back. It
must be so frustrating for you. I currently have sciatic pain on my right
leg but I know that is eventually going to go away - the past 6 weeks have
been extremely 'trying' as I haven't been able sit down for very long at a
time but I am slowly recovering with the help of a Bowen Therapist. I really
do feel for you. Re my scarf - take your time I can wait until you feel able
to do some work.
I have been to many workshops recently - not all felting. One I particularly
enjoyed was felted slippers with Louise Snook. She is a wonderful tutor and
the classes are very social and happy events. We made 2 pairs - mine are
very rustic looking but great fun although i still have to complete the
decorating. One pair is a boot folded down at the top and the others have a
curly toe.
Also did a felted mat workshop with Louise with some friends and it was a
fabulous day and we all came home with beautiful mats.
Hi Meg, what are you up to? I went to the Retreat last Saturday afternoon to
hear Jodi Pearl speak and demonstrate her Deconstructed clothing. Fabulous
and very inspiring. I am hoping to get a small group together to do a
workshop with Jodi. Don't think I will be down your way until after July but
if you come up to Perth please let me know - you are most welcome to come
have a look at my embellisher and of couse have tea and cakes and mabe Annie
my be hear as well!
Hi Pat, always love to hear info about your supplies. I hope to be doing
some more felting with batts soon.
Kerry, Your message came up with ' This message is not in displayable
format' - I have had this happen on a few emails from Aussiefelters - what
sort of format are you using??? I sometimes find my Norton Spam or Viris
program doesn't let messages through but can't see why.
Hope all is well with you and yours.
Best wishes to everyone

Meg......you will be soon as warm as I am here in Florida.  I arrived here in Tallahassee in the wee small hours of this morning, after a horrendous bus ride from Houston.  If I ever say that I am going on a greyhound bus again, I have told people to hit me with a hammer and tell me not to be so stupid.  The rough element that travels on on this mode of transport in USA is just too much for me to handle and feel safe.  So, no more Greyhound buses for me.

The trip so far has been great......but I am going to have a couple of weeks off travelling around, to be able to spend some time with my cousins and aunt here.  Maybe meet up with a couple of Florida Felters as well.

Warm Regards  from the very very warm Florida, USA

Hi Stacey

Thanks for sharing your thoughts about the Melbourne Scarf Festival. I would have loved to have visited it but it's my husband's birthday this weekend.

I entered scarves in it for the first time this year - so I am certainly not a 'renown' feltmaker LOL.

One of the scarves I made was supposed to be in the exhibition in the City Library so I don't know what happened to it. (The festival blurb said the scarves were going to be hung on Level 1 - is this where the knitting thingo was?) Anyway, my scarf had seed pods & gumnuts felted into it - did you happen to see it amongst the 400 other ones LOL? (There's a close-up in my Aussiefeltmaker's album)

It's interesting that some of the scarves were priced over $1000, as in the briefing notes for participants, we were told that our scarves should be in the range of $80-$220. I ended up pricing my gumnut one at a bit more than that, as it took ages to make & I think it was quite original. I really hope it doesn't sell as I am quite attached to it LOL.

Even though the $100 scarves are guaranteed sellers, the maker doesn't get much from the sale. Craft Victoria take a 40% commission on the retail price and charge a $15 entry fee per scarf - which I think is outrageous. If your scarf sells for $100, by the time you take out the commission of $40, the entry fee of $15, materials cost of $10, you end up with only $35 for your efforts - and that's not even counting other expenses such as water, power, soap etc.

It means that the scarf makers who want to sell items under $100 have to either drastically underprice their work or just produce really quick & easy pieces - neither of which are particularly good options for the professional craftsperson. I think Craft Victoria should waive the $15 entry fee for scarves under $150 - in fact I might write to them about that. I'll get off my soapbox now! LOL

In relation to the ATC swap, I don't think we are going to get any other members of this group taking part, so maybe Robyn or another of your felting friends would like to join in. Just a thought...

Wendy

Hi Barb, sorry to hear about your back.  I missed not going to the retreat but things are a bit busy at the moment.  What do you think of felting in the washing machine.  It could save your back and you would be able to continue what you love to do.

Regards Kerry.
