This is a group based in Australia to give support to anyone who is enduring the consequences of having Lyme, suspecting they have Lyme or knows someone who has Lyme. Basically anything to do with Lyme Disease.

It is hoped that here we will be able to help each other deal with living our lives with this disease, manouvering around all the hurdles and the mountains we have to climb to firstly find out that it is Lyme that has ruined our lives, then getting a diagnosis, getting treatment, getting ongoing treatment, coping with its symptoms, coping with treatment and functioning around it. All this in a country where it is extremely hard to find a doctor who knows anything about Lyme and who has the patience and devotion to stand by you as you navigate life with it. It is hoped that sharing our experiences here will serve to help us and to change the situation so that one day there will be many doctors in Australia who are trained and experienced to treat Lyme Disease and its co- infections.

For ethical reasons, please ensure that doctors names do not appear on site. We have to be aware at all times that legal boundaries set for any type of public domain also apply here.
