Update





With the first month of launches and showcases registering as a resounding
success with bands and punters alike, the GYO compilation moves into it's second
month on the back of this, with the band Hailer reaching the number ONE position
on Triple J Unearthed to cap it all off.

Tracks have already been added to Satellite Music Australia(SMA), RAGE has
featured videos from a number of the bands and plays have been reported on
Triple J,
FBi, 2HHH, 4ZZZ, 8CCC, 3 PBS Melbourne and 3RRR have both featured the album on

Saturday June 23rd at The Vic on The Park Hotel in Enmore presented by Foghorn
and Drum Media;
looks like being a corker with headline act The Black Stars from Byron Bay
travelling down specially for the show - their first EP was featured on Triple j
and they have recently finished recording their new release with Phil McKeller
(Grinspoon, Silverchair, Spiderbait) engineering and producing. Their track for
upload one 'The Best of Me' has recently been aired on Rage, 4ZZZ and Bay FM -
they play The Zoo in Brisbane this week as well. - checkout

The other bands on the bill include Supersede who took out the covetted track 1
on the compilation with their sizzling tune 'Set The Pace' -

Swimming Underground have also had their fair share of local success with

Opening act on the night will be young female fronted pop punksters Sideswiped
