Hello all.
CASTINGS-that improvisational quintet fueled by Carlton Draught,and
a large
portion of hate and contempt for what passes as a supportive music
scene(?)
in Sydney at present, have organised two shows over the Easter
weekend to
promote the release of their new CD 'Allo Hickory and their upcoming
split
7" (on Steady Cam) with Melbourne geniuses ii. With the hope that we
can tip
the scales and inspire punters to do SOMETHING.....like starting an
ORIGINAL
band for example, or simply to showcase independent thought.
We've dragged some like-minded artists along for the ride too.....so
here's
the lowdown:
