The EP was recorded at the couples home studio over the course of approximately
twelve months and they enlisted seasoned professional Rod McCormack to mix and
master the CD at his handy Central Coast Studio. Unlike their separate tunes in
the beginning the studio album is under the simple moniker Nick and Liesl as a
two piece with multi instrumentalist Nick filling in Rhythm Section duties on
some tunes.



Having both played the Vanguard and other Sydney rooms on separate occasions the
Basement show will position the pair firmly in the roots genre which they evoke
so well on the EP. Sarah Howells of Triple J certainly thinks so having already
spun the track on her influential 'Roots N All' show and the title track is
included on the upcoming Home Grown Roots Volume 3 Compilation alongside John
Butler, Paul Kelly, Ash Grunwald and Mia Dyson - not bad compnay to be in.......
