'allo hickory!

After a busy couple of months, Castings have finally completed their
debut long-player ('Allo Hickory...complete with artwork just in
time) and are heading off to Melbourne and Canberra to promote it and
get drunk in a different place....with a Sydney launch for the album
due mid-June.

Also, look out for a Castings interview in the Canberra-based zine
5th Column, and a live set and interview on PBS' "Makeshift Swahili"
program coming soon.

..............The Spanish Magic compilation "It's Over, We Don't
Care" is finished also - to be pressed this week and released and
launched Saturday June 25th @ the Mandarin Club.
The featured artists on the CD are: Hi God People, Pimmon, ii,
Brothers Of The Occult Sisterhood, Keith Mason, HTRK, Hiss, The
Garbage & The Flowers, North Atlantic, Castings, Peter Blamey &
Anthony Guerra and Rand And Holland. Just quietly, it's fuckin' great
- so get out and support these artists by going to their shows and
buying this compilation.
Many more releases and shows are in the pipeline too.....so wish us
