.....described as Stevie Ray Vaughan meets Lucinda Williams with a healthy nod
to George Thorogood, Christina's current album 'Midnight Train' (CD Baby) has
been doing the rounds lately picking up strong reviews and airplay throughout
the country including the ABC Local Network, Satellite Music Australia,
Soundslikecafe and various community and regional stations.

Christina was recently a top 5 Musicoz nominee in the Blues category and
runner up in the Guitarfest guitar battle as well.

The new activity is all leading to the album's launch this April 18 at The
Lewisham Hotel and a string of other dates through May and June - see below.

Armed with a road weary, weather-beaten Strat, Christina Crofts kicks off her
debut solo album in feisty fashion, with some 'buzzsaw' style blues slide on the
title track 'Midnight Train". The energy level never wanes over a 37 minute
duration, in which Crofts offers up a fine spead of classic blues riffs and
licks. The songwriting may occasionally fall into cliche, however Crofts'
smokin' slide and character filled voca more than compensates. A seasoned
Sydney bluester, Crofts finally gets the chance to shine on her own a does
