Home Grown Roots presents an 'All Acoustic Christmas'!!


To celebrate everyone's favourite time of the year the Home Grown Roots and
Soundslikecafe crew will be hosting special acoustic performances by some of
Sydney's most talented musicians at The Vanguard in Newtown on Tuesday November
28.

The night will play host to Montana, The Honey Palace, Patrick Carr, Van Sereno
& Itu, Doug Sandrini and Lastelle. All of these musicians have their own
specific style that will bring a level of diverse and high quality music to this
Christmas party for all the artists from the successful Home Grown Roots disc
and many from Soundslikecafe that can make it along - in fact it's the perfect
night and venue for your own Christmas bash so why not come on down and join us!

Home Grown Roots showcases the best Aussie talent in the Blues and Roots Genre.
If you're after some fresh sounds then Home Grown Roots will surely satisfy your
hunger for new Australian music. This new compilation of both upcoming and known
roots artists features the likes of international guests, Hawksley Workman and
Joel Plaskett, as well as local musicians Patrick Carr, Doug Sandrini, Ben
Marshall, Angus and Julia, Back To Sea, Nick Everitt, Itu, Ester Toll, Liesl
Karlsson, Jesse Morris, Tim Walker, Van Sereno, Klia Zuka, Shannon Reynolds,
Vanessa Hoffman, and Luke Koteras, alongside Triple J next crop artist Tecoma
and well known Aussie artist Karl Broadie.
