'Sounds Like Café embraces the summer festival vibe'


Its getting close to everyone's favourite time of the year and to celebrate the
festive season, Soundslikecafe will be sending bonus discs along with SLC v14 to
all of their cafés. These will include John Legend's latest album 'Once Again',
Greg Meyer self titled album, The Audreys Aria Award winning album and the
E-type Jazz Christmas album 'Ho Ho'.



Jamiroquai's, Gypsy Kings and Brendan Gallagher's latest albums were serviced to
cafes with the last SLC 13 as promotion for their upcoming releases. Cafés that
have subscribed for this free service have been reaping the benefits. Each of
the cafés have received 6 SLC compilation CD's this year as well as 7 other
newly released albums.



The end of 2006 will culminate with the soundslikecafe/home grown roots stage at
The Peats Ridge Festival, which goes for three days over New Years Eve -
www.peatsridgefestival.com.au. Its not surprising that the free to cafes
promotional sampler is seeing an unprecedented number of submissions and a new
take up of cafes, bookstores, wineries and coffee shops across the country.



Volume 14 is winging it's way to over 1200 points Nationally and will feature: -

James Cooper, Ange Boxall, Karma County, Emily Davis(pictured), David Campbell,

Finally to celebrate a successful year Soundslikecafe are hosting their
Christmas Party at the Vanguard Tuesday Nov 28th featuring Local SLC artists
Lastelle, The Honey Palace, Montana, Van Sereno, Doug Sandrini and Patrick
