It Was A Good August

I have been thinking about how so many good things fell into place this last few weeks, it was a good August and so I was happy, and the dog is good, the music is good, my friends are good, going out is good, and the Old Canberra Inn is turning into my local... And I already have spent, like I called into the Supabarn for a pie and spent $200 on impulse buys, and it's all so sweet...

Plus we had this nong in Australia's Foreign Affairs, the Golliwog in Net Stockings, saying as how the war to come with China and the USA Xtian Right would mean Australia being called in under the ANSUS treaty to get blown away as well, but even letting Taiwan in any way become an issue is so damn arrogant and bloody minded, it's incredible, for the USA to have the hide to keep up this tension threat on fighting a war over Taiwan, it is so stupidly disgusting, but maybe if the Americans could see an invasive force doing to New York and such what the Yanks are doing to Iraq, having a foreign army parading down Wall Street and treating the locals like yokels, it might sink in? As long as Fox TV was turned on it's head maybe...

Now we're being told that the Intelligence advice to the Little Liar's Government said that invading Iraq and pursuing So-Called terrorists would only worsen the risks of attack and make Australia a more likely target for retaliation, just like we suspected... Who on earth would think any differently? Ummm, people with ulterior motives perhaps? Duh? The New Troubles In Life Are Based On Religious Style Dogmas About Markets Solving Everything, What A Load Of Crap

People should see reported in the media these profits ripped off out of the public's pockets as the tax they have to pay for Privatisation, it's just the Privatisation Profits Tax that has the hands of rich privateers in the Public's pockets, yet they find it easy enough to complain about real taxation, how come they never get told that these privatised profits on their public infrastructures are somehow OK? Or even good? As if any of the public gets to share in these bonanzas? All it does is reduce the service, the distribution of jobs in far flung communities and lowering the standard of living... The new troubles in life are based on religious style dogmas about markets solving everything, what a load of crap... Markets are good for bells and whistles products that compete for quality and maintenance and long life, governments should be responsible at the ballot box for providing the big infrastructure services...

And also the price of oil has hit the highroad, and there's these fortune telling economists blowing in the wind about what the future will bring again, and so it looks like this election year will straddle another hiccup in the woes of the modern economies, reliance on others will come home to roost in all the developed countries cause of the fossil fuel brained ratbags running the Free Trade dogmas, and the Globalisation wreckage of manufacturing disappearing into Asia, so when the crash comes we'll all go under, and the new governments will cop the blame probably... So all the huffing and puffing will to blow up the bubble has brought us closer and closer to the big burst... But don't you worry about that... Besides the giant tidal wave Tsunami might hit the Pacific shores as well, or perhaps the rogue asteroid, or just starting up all those motors every morning, christ it's getting hot here in August already, sposed to be the coldest month once upon a time in the good ol days...

Profits Ripped Off From Ex-Publicly Owned Services

Now we are hearing of the profits ripped off from ex-Publicly owned services, like Privatised Qantas Airlines coming up with monopoly money which should be going into the public coffers, and Qantas should be employing engineers and maintenance people and all their staff here in Australia, same as the Privatised Commonwealth Bank skiting about their super profits based on a Public Service ripped off, and denying people a Government Guaranteed Bank they can rely on, and so it goes on with Telstra the Goldmine for charging people rent for their own infrastructure and all those rip off So-Called competitive retailers, what a joke, if they disappeared we'd get the services at cost without all that hoopla and garbage about competition they always throw up in their sick headed ways... And then there's that crazy Electricity retailing garbage where all these private carpetbaggers send out invoices and charge you for doing it... It's a Public Utility for christ's sake, what the hell has it to do with little kings and their self serving interests?

Ah, the history lessons we never learn and always forget, by coincidence I picked up a book in the library, 1916, with the under ground Organisations of the Irish Republicans in Dublin, fighting for their nation, and the parallels you can draw with all these countries that have foreign domination... So the Iraqis who are engaged in the freedom fight from foreigners dominating them in their own country, rings all the bells down through history, how people will fight to the death for their homelands, and while the Americans have that bludgeoning temerity to impose themselves on another country under whatever pretext, like there's no WMD, and Saddam has gone, and so what are they there for? What's left? The Oil? Why do they treat the local Iraqis with that racist contempt the Brits had for the Irish, the religions involved again, the genocides for land roar relentlessly on, the hatreds that grow from the cruelties that will never end till true reconciliation and peace breaks out, but then I heard Chaney poo-poohing Presidential Candidate John Kerry as being Sensitive to the Iraqi ideals, while Chaney was on a sneering path of eliminating the Iraqi resistance, and exterminating the Iraqi freedom fighters in their own homelands... So rearing up again is the role these old regal positions play in today's world, I reckon the appointments by Governments should be made a Royal Majority of the Parliamentarians, like 66%... We elect Parliamentarians ostensibly to represent us, and then they let their Prime Minister or Premier assume all this power of appointing their favourites, well one person shouldn't be able to use appointments at their whim, the Governors retain the old Royal Prerogative of sacking a Government in deadlock and calling for an election, so the holder of these Governorship jobs ought to be a Bi-Partizan referee of Parliament appointed by the Parliament, and in the slack times should do the ribbon cutting and regalia bearing and never enter political life, stay aloof and keep their mouths shut on anything political, like all modern royalty and forever hold their tongues in Public... The Symbolism they represent is the Sovereignty of the State, nothing to do with governing...

We had news this morning that some 12 years ago this place was to have 1000 hospital beds, and now there's not even 500... It was the time when tax cutting conservative crap was being put about, and the privatisation debate raging and how budget cutting and hard edged management would kick butt and other efficiencies brought in... It was Economic Rationalism sweeping through the opportunist minds of the tax avoiders and Public Service haters, and again they would have their rotten ways to cut and slash and bleed Public Services, and then rip off private profits from the privatised services, so now we end up with a Hospital System which is far worse than it was, but yet it's the best in Australia, so just shows you how these rotten Little Conservatives like the PM are such bad news in power, they don't give a bugger about anyone but their big business friends, and they have the hide to lie about supporting the Battlers, what a sick smirking joke their ideas about Health are, so out in the Ambulances waiting for days to get into a bed it probably isn't very Relaxed and Comfortable...

Telstra, The Gold Mine Of Infrastructure, Should Be Run At Cost Like All Public Services

Another Dracula in Charge of the BloodBank appointment with the new Chairman of Telstra, he's a sort of So-Called Liberal Party executioner, a dreadful choice for the Public Service which Telstra is, although he evidently has pulled the wings off the Telstra Board members who went throwing billions away on stupid world domination follies, and changed the focus to home grown infrastructure problems... But the same corrosive influence throwing spanners like him into the works, he also has the same union bashing background that came forth on the wharves, so the privatisation of Public Services is still being pushed... I'm sick of those profits taxing my lifestyle, I have to pay big Telstra bills so they can cream off these profits and spend it on a few shareholders... Telstra, the Gold Mine of Infrastructure, should be run at cost like all Public Services and any revenue should go into the tax pool, not squandered on a pack of lazy stockholders who do bluddy nuthin...

A mirror on society is the way Fahrenheit 911 is being reviewed, it reveals so much, particularly how uninformed all the Battlers are, and how most people just don't have a clue, and then it also allows the Rats Of The Ridiculous Religious Right out of the cage so that George Dubya-Dubya-III  type warmongers come to the fore and blast away at Michael Moore, so there's at least a revelation about the brainless being exposed... But the Movie Documentary scene is so lacking in getting anything distributed against the Land of the Free Scam Spin Contortions of the Media.... So the few people with money who own everything and employ suck-up scabs are now riding the wave, and the Labor Party is in bed with them, cosy ain't it...

As well there seems to be so much more analytical talk about how politics of the Conservatives has gone from bad to worse, all over, the Religious Right is taking a battering, also on that crazy ABC slogan for AIDS where the American image is pushing for Abstinence as the answer, and that niggardly retort,  Well get used to it,  this is the real world, comes back  to haunt them, they cause so much trubble the Religious Rabble Right, anyway, maybe their stupid god will take them all away, sooner the better...

Private Religious Schools Are Being Dragged Off To The High Court For The Separation Of Church And State,

Hooray at last, those bluddy dreadful Private Religious Schools are being dragged off to the High Court to have the Constitution dropped on them for the Separation Of Church And State, this thoroughly rotten Australian Government of the Neo-Conservative Religious Ratbags have been delving out tax money to those destroyers of egalitarianism, equality, and destroyers of the Australian Constitution... So the usual trouble makers are finally being brought to justice and they ought to repay all the money they've illegally stolen from the Australian Nation for he last 50 years, and if ever any bluddy stupid religion tries to get public funding then deport them to the Taliban somewhere, get rid of them, the religious right are the worst trouble makers in all the world, and they also are doing the dirty politics in the election, they always bring up the dirt files and start all the hatreds... And it's against the Constitution, the separation of church and state doesn't mean religious idiots should get public funding, that's the last thing... They should never be encouraged at all, and the sooner they go broke on sucking parents into paying their posh fees the better...

That new Spirit of Freedom building to replace the World Trade Towers looks like a bayonet to me... It's a symbol alright...  They never learn do they, they stick to their ridiculous religious ideals and wonder why they cop a slap back, like looking back at the World Trade Centre Twin Towers being targeted, and those other icons, it really was a strike at those symbols, the very first thought I had was that the attack was against the SuperPower Symbols and so it was, and now it turns out they will have a Bayonet Building to represent their lying rhetoric about Freedom and words like that, Freedom for Being Bayoneted seems to be the new image... That puts it all on a knife edge and something for those rebels to aim at... I wonder if the construction technique will incorporate the concertina effect of peeling a banana... That's the second most memorable feature of the attack, the way cheapo capitalist construction delivered more death than the planes... And don't ever mention that they asked for it...

 The Australian So-Called Liberal Party's Dirt Department has been digging mud and slush and come up stinking so that every time they throw some dung they have it all over their hands and face, and come out looking dirtier and dumber and disreputable than anyone else, particularly good when they get the focus on them and who they are and what they represent, being the Religious Ratbag Right, so the dirt files are sort of reflecting all the worse on the So-Called Liberals and Nationals and their balaclava dog types... And also it allows the scum to rise again like the Abbott And Costello Show was the bottom of the rubbish tip a while ago, and it always amazes how the every time the Dirty LibNats stick their smelly noses into the muck, they get it all over themselves, puke vomit retch gag choke...
