Re: Letter??? (first draft)

My first draft of a very basic letter:

Dear ______________

There is now very clear scientific proof that Climate Change is
happening and we all know that we need strong action from our elected
leaders to turn the tide.

We have all heard the "pollie speak" and it is getting us nowhere. We
need leaders who will lead the way in utilising modern technology to
produce sustainable energy to combat Climate Change impacts, and we
must sign the Koyoto Protocol as a first step in this direction.

If our elected leaders are not prepared to take this tiny step then I
(for one), will have no alternative than to change my vote for a
party which is prepared to have the courage to do so in the next
election.

Yours sincerely
