Club Purple is the online home of the Caulfield Primary School community. CPS is government school 5489 in Victoria.
Our Parents' and Friends Club (P&FC) is an open, inclusive group for any parent, guardian, friend or relative who wants to take part in their child’s school life. P&FC is a way to be involved with activities at school, and we welcome your suggestions if you have any ideas for events you’d like to see happen at school.
P&FC runs social occasions like the annual BBQ for the Japanese students who visit our school. We make our visitors welcome by throwing a traditional Aussie lunch. The day is a special one where friendships are formed between our visitors and students at the school.
Fundraising is also a big part of what we do, and money we have raised has helped buy computers, plants and equipment for the garden, play equipment for the grounds, and stock our library with hundreds of new books.
Our school is small, but the parents and friends are a committed group who pitch in and endeavour to support the staff of the school in their efforts to create a vibrant community and place for learning. The Caulfield area offers a varied range of schooling options but we believe our school is special: a treasure tucked into an exciting neighbourhood of cultural diversity. We pride ourselves in our friendliness and we passionately believe in our children, who learn about tolerance and respect in a warm, caring setting.
Have a look around our Yahoo site. The files section has the minutes from all our recent P&FC meetings. There is space to store information about events, photos, calendar dates, etc. Let us know if you have suggestions to improve the site.
