Welcome to all sailors of Corsairs in Australia

Here you can find all the information about Corsair Championships and boat info
This group is also intended for posting messages,voting in polls etc.

If you own a Corsair please add your boat number and name under the About Me info please.

All Corsair state Associations can upload here there program, Notice of Race, Entry Forms etc.

If you belong to a Sailing Club you can upload also Notice of Races of any events that you would like to promote.

The Corsair is  a 16 foot (4.8 metre) fibre-glass sailing dinghy offers excellent racing with a crew of three and in addition is  a comfortable cruising boat. Designed by Alan Payne to be  an all-round performance centreboarder for Australian conditions. After prototype trials in 1966, the first one hundred yachts, numbered 101 to 200 identical with those, were widely distributed in 1967. Then the Corsair was manufactured by Blue Water Marine but since 2008 they stopped building Corsairs.
