The Corsair is a 16 foot (4.8 metre) fibre-glass sailing dinghy offers excellent racing with a crew of three and in addition is a comfortable cruising boat. Designed by Alan Payne to be an all-round performance centreboarder for Australian conditions. After prototype trials in 1966, the first one hundred yachts, numbered 101 to 200 identical with those, were widely distributed in 1967. Then the Corsair was manufactured by Blue Water Marine but since 2008 they stopped building Corsairs.
Northern Zone Championship 7/8 Nov 2009 Manning Marathon 9/10th January 2010. Two races to count. The Saturday afternoon race will be a standard olympic style

Hi Tim, To start with it'll be Social sailing, but once I get my crew trained up- and depending on their enthusiasm, I'd like to get back into racing (although
