Thanks for the note. We have yet to use our spinnaker(s) but looking
at the boat it is possible to use a standard (at least it is on the
Farr 31 I sail on) hook-up where the sheets come outside and aft to a
block about 30cm from the transome on both sides. They then head back
to a plate gunwhale mounted on the c-track just inboard and aft of the
shrouds. The plate has a cam-cleat and fairlead and the sheet/brace
is controlled from here. It would be interesting to hear from more
seasoned Corasir sailors as to whether this is overkill - I have seen
photos of the sheets coming from the chute direct to the plate without
heading aft. With the comparatively light forces on the spinnaker
compared to larger boats, maybe the simpler second option might be
better. I intend to try both - I assume you would want to as well.
