Outrage ~ Geoff Metcalf

Stupidity, outrage, vanity, cruelty, iniquity, bad faith, falsehood—we fail to see the whole array when it is facing in the same direction as we. --Jean Rostand

Bill Clinton’s national security advisor (predecessor to Condoleezza Rice) has pled GUILTY to stealing classified documents and destroying some of them.

Notwithstanding his initial claims the incident in which he secreted documents in his pants and socks was an “honest mistake”, Sandy Berger copped a plea and got a dainty slap on the wrist.

Berger’s theft and lying were neither honest OR a mistake. He willfully, with malice of forethought, and full knowledge of the severity of his crime, stole classified documents and destroyed some of them. The act is outflippingragous. The arrogance of Berger in presuming he could (and did) get away with it is way beyond aggravating. The sentence is infuriatingly absurd.

Once upon a time men where executed for less egregious offenses. Berger was sentenced to:

  • No prison time.
  • A measly $10,000 fine (less than one speaking fee).
  • Three-year revocation of his security clearance.

This Travesty of justice is sufficient to gag any maggot.

The ACLU vs. America ~ Michelle Malkin

On April Fools' Day, the American Civil Liberties Union will show us what a joke its commitment to American civil liberties really is.

April 1st, in case you haven't heard, is the launch of the Minuteman Project, an all-volunteer effort by law-abiding American citizens to call attention to the nation's wide open southern border. Hundreds of Americans from New York to Michigan to California will travel down to the U.S.-Mexico border for a month to monitor illegal aliens and alert immigration enforcement officials if they witness law-breaking.

Call it the mother of all neighborhood watch programs.

In doing so, the Minutemen will be exercising their constitutionally protected freedom of speech, freedom of assembly and freedom to petition the government for a redress of grievances. Those would be fundamental civil liberties found in something called the, uh, First Amendment, of which the ACLU is supposed to be the foremost expert and champion. Or so the group and its celebrity supporters say. In sanctimonious new fund-raising ad campaigns, the organization features the likes of liberal actress Holly Hunter, who asks:

"Do you want to be heard without fear? I am not an American who believes that questioning or criticizing my government is unpatriotic."

Son of divorce ~ Bob Just

Editor’s Note: This is a must read!

My mother left my father when I was 5 years old.

I make no harsh judgment of my parents, who have many wonderful qualities. But from that moment I began my personal journey, a struggle that has so far lasted a lifetime – getting over the fear and anger that resulted from that one single decision. And there are millions of other Americans coming up behind me with the same demons.

We are not just a social problem, but also a growing political force. In fact, America's ability to maintain her freedoms may ultimately depend on there being some kind of massive national healing, which, let's face it, can only begin with massive national honesty. We don't get much of that from the secular culture.

So let me start here with myself.

I have only two real memories of home life before my parents separated: my father practicing scales on his flute (he was a professional musician) and, of course, the sound of angry voices – coming from the next room.

I don't remember any arguing in my presence. After all, this was the 1950s, an era when most parents did their level best not to fight in front of the children. Back then, it was still generally recognized that children are "impressionable," and therefore adults made every effort to protect us, both in their homes and in the public square – including the culture.

And They Shall Become One ~ John Newby

We read in the Bible where man and women shall leave their parents, marry and become as one. Delete the men and women portion of that great Biblical teaching and we have the Republican and Democratic parties in our country. Before you choke on your breakfast omelet, let me explain. I’m not insinuating they spew the same message, which would be difficult as they talk out of both sides of their cheeks. That could be facial or rear-sided cheeks, pick your poison. No, what the representatives of these parties say is starkly different; as one can attest to while getting their nightly fix of mainstream media propaganda being shown by the network troika.

Don’t be mistaken, you’ll hear pro-choice versus anti-abortion stances; you’ll hear pro-Iraq versus no-Iraq messages; you’ll hear raise taxes versus cut taxes; you’ll hear seal the borders versus open borders; you’ll hear we need to cut spending versus we need to increase spending; you’ll hear we need to support the constitution versus the constitution is outdated; you’ll hear that out-sourcing has got to stop versus it does no harm; you’ll hear we’ve got to stop global warming versus it’s not a man-made problem. Yes, listening to the two major parties, one would believe that all the potential points of views are covered; one might call it their own political buffet of sorts, something to please everyone.

The Schiavo Legacy ~ Gary Bauer

I have probably fielded 50 press calls in the last several days, all posing the same question: "What will be the long-term legacy of the Schiavo ordeal?" The most accurate answer, of course, is that no one knows. Perhaps the case will speed our decline into a culture of death. Perhaps it will lead to a reevaluation of the road we have been on since 1973 when the Supreme Court essentially declared that our unborn children had no rights we were bound to respect.

For the optimists among us, there are already indications that the public has started to shift on the issue. A Fox Opinion Dynamics survey found that 42% of the public agreed with the removal of the feeding tube, while 38% opposed the removal. A relatively large 20% were completely confused and unsure. In other words, the country is much more narrowly divided than the "main-stream" media would have you believe.

The Wall Street Journal reported today on one group that may become new members of the Republican coalition because of the Schiavo case - the disabled. Major groups representing the handicapped are not happy with the reaction of the political Left to Terri's plight. Many disabled people joined the demonstrations in support of Terri Schiavo outside the hospice, including the well-named "Not Dead Yet" coalition. And here is a quote from Eleanor Smith, a self-described liberal agnostic lesbian, who is confined to a wheelchair because of polio: "At this point I would rather have a right-wing Christian decide my fate than an ACLU member."

DeLay Promises Action

House Majority Leader Tom DeLay charged that the federal judiciary had "thumbed its nose" at Congress in the Terri Schiavo case. Taking a small copy of the Constitution from his coat pocket, he said that judges had ignored it in ordering her death. Then he made this promise: "The Congress of the United States for many years has shirked its responsibility to hold the judiciary accountable. No longer." DeLay added: "We will look at an arrogant out-of-control, unaccountable judiciary that thumbed their nose at the Congress and president when given jurisdiction to hear this case anew and look at all the facts." Stay tuned!

Where Have All the Left' s Heroes Gone? ~ Tony Perkins

The other day I mentioned how the union-backed Alliance for Justice (AFJ) had absconded with the name Phil A. Buster, an FRC original illustration. Perhaps I should explain further. Wednesday, at a press conference organized by the radical left group MoveOn.org, AFJ was joined by Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV), Senator Robert Byrd (D-WV), and the liberal group People for the American Way (PFAW) to support the Democrats' unprecedented filibuster of President Bush's judicial nominees. At the press conference AFJ introduced their plans for their counterfeit Phil A. Buster. PFAW also debuted their pro- filibuster ad which misrepresents legendary actor Jimmy Stewart and the movie classic Mr. Smith Goes to Washington.

To begin with, these leftists groups and senators need to actually watch this Frank Capra classic movie. Democratic Senators are not emulating the cinematic hero Jefferson Smith, staying on the floor of the Senate until they pass out while defending the republic from corruption. If this was anything more than simply politics to them, maybe they would actually do a traditional filibuster. Secondly, what right do the Democrats have to distort the memory of a staunch Republican like Jimmy Stewart? First, the left tried to kidnap Phil A. Buster, and now they're trying to kidnap the spirit of Jimmy Stewart. The ultimate goal is to kidnap the United States Constitution by judicial fiat. "Gay" marriage and banning prayers at public events are examples of how activist judges create law while treading on the Constitution and the will of the people. If we are not careful, the only place we'll see the Constitution is on the side of a milk carton.

Lesbians' marriage void, but can't get divorced ~ WorldNetDaily.com

Connecticut couple's Massachusetts nuptials put them in catch-22 with no legal way out
A lesbian couple from Connecticut who married in Massachusetts during last year's rush of same-sex weddings find themselves in somewhat of a pickle – there's no legal way for them to divorce.

When Massachusetts governor Mitt Romney invoked a pre-existing law that prevented issuance of marriage licenses to people who could not legally marry in their own state, it effectively voided the union of Anita Ann Albanese and her partner, a woman identified in court papers as "Lane." Anita and Lane, however, still had reason to hope their marriage would receive legal blessing when proponents of same-sex unions challenged the ban invoked by Romney.

The problem is, Anita and Lane no longer want to be together, nor do they want to find themselves legally yoked if the legal challenge to the Massachusetts ban succeeds at some future date. They want their marriage annulled.

Now, a Connecticut judge has told the pair that because neither Connecticut nor Massachusetts saw their marriage as legal to begin with, the court has no jurisdiction to annul it.

Hartford Superior Court Judge Linda Pearce Prestley's determination rested on the fact the state legislature has deemed same-sex marriage to be against public policy, reported the Connecticut Law Tribune.

Prestley's 10-page decision cited the relevant Massachusetts law: "No marriage shall be contracted in this commonwealth by a party residing and intending to continue to reside in another jurisdiction if such marriage would be void if contracted in such other jurisdiction."

Because the 'marriage' between Anita and Lane was "premised on a violation of the Massachusetts marriage statute, the 'civil marriage' was not valid from its inception, but null and void, and, therefore, Connecticut has nothing to dissolve or annul."

The case has been dismissed for lack of subject matter jurisdiction. Until Connecticut lawmakers recognize same-sex marriage, Prestley concluded, the pair must remain both unmarried and un-divorced.

Rev. Gene Robinson:Jesus 'might be 'gay'' ~ 2005 WorldNetDaily.com

Editor's Note: Gee, I was just getting used to the idea that Jesus was a married man, thanks to The DaVinci Code, now I find out he was “gay.  If you remember, author Dan Brown would have us believe that Jesus and Mary Magdalene were married and they had a child who was supposedly the "Holy Grail."  Groan.  So which is it?  Is Christ straight or gay? Next we'll be hearing that He was bisexual.  Personally, I think Jesus Christ is God incarnate.  Hence when you make things up about Him you're treading on thin ice – or hot coals might be more like it!  Obviously individuals who make blasphemous (and unsubstantiated) claims about Jesus's sexuality don't believe that they will be summoned to appear before the very God they mock.  My suggestion is to pray for these people before it's too late for them.

Episcopal Bishop Gene Robinson, the first openly homosexual bishop of his denomination, has angered traditionalist Anglicans by suggesting that Jesus Christ might have been homosexual.

Robinson, who left his wife – and mother of his two daughters – to cohabit with his male lover, Mark, made his inflammatory remarks during an address titled, "Homosexuality and the Body of Christ: Is There a New Way?" at Christ Church of Hamilton and Wenham, Massachusetts. The bishop was asked by a congregant how Christians could both accept homosexuality and the Bible's emphasis on redemption for sins.

"Interestingly enough, in this day of traditional family values," answered Robinson, "this man that we follow was single, as far as we know, traveled with a bunch of men, had a disciple who was known as 'the one whom Jesus loved' and said my family is not my mother and father, my family is those who do the will of God. None of us likes those harsh words. That's who Jesus is, that's who he was at heart, in his earthly life.

Christian Medical Group Weighs In on Quality-of-Life Decision, Advance Directive Bill Fancher and Jody Brown

A Christian physician says when it comes to "quality-of-life" decisions, there is a huge difference of opinion between those making the decision and the patient.

Dr. David Stevens is president of the Christian Medical & Dental Associations. Stevens says the quality-of-life debate was one of the big factors in the Terri Schiavo case and was weighed by the courts before they ordered her to be starved to death. According to the CMDA spokesman, quality-of-life evaluations often do not coincide with what the victims of the evaluations feel.

"Studies of the health-care community have found that [those making the decision] always thought the quality of life was lower for the patient than the actual patient did," Stevens says.

Such evaluations, he says, are not an exact science. "Any time you take someone's external judgment and impose it upon those who are vulnerable [or] those who are disabled, they always see a life not worth very much -- yet those who are in those conditions often have a very fulfilled life," he explains.

Should all Christians be doing greater miracles than Jesus? ~ Brent Riggs

Question:

I hear preached all the time that John 14:12 means that Christians, some if not all, should and could be doing greater miracles than Jesus. Is that really what that verse means?

Answer:

You are correct, it is frequently and consistently taught in many churches and on TV that this verse means Christians will and should be doing greater miracles than Jesus:

John 14:12 “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father. (NKJV)

To answer your question, let me clarify what I am NOT answering:

·         I am not answering whether or not miracles occur today

·         I am not answering that if there ARE miracles performed today, are they done by God directly to a person; or through one person to another person

·         I am not answering whether or not I believe that today's self-proclaimed miracle-workers are authentic

What I will answer here is: Does John 14:12 mean that we (Christians) are capable of, or should be doing, greater miracles than Jesus?

No. Plainly, No.

Mandatory 'Diversity' Training Unconstitutional, Lawsuit Says ~ Jim Brown

(AgapePress) - A Kentucky school district has been sued for allegedly telling students that if they believe homosexual behavior is wrong, they must keep their opinions to themselves.

The lawsuit filed by the Alliance Defense Fund (ADF) alleges that the Boyd County Board of Education has prohibited students from expressing a view that homosexuality is morally wrong and harmful to society. Each fall, the district requires all middle-school and high-school students to take part in a one-hour "diversity training" session.

ADF attorney Kevin Theriot says by forbidding speech against homosexuality, the district is engaging in unconstitutional censorship.

"That's a restriction of speech," the attorney says, "and the real problem is they encourage the opposite viewpoint, that homosexuality is healthy lifestyle that ought to be encouraged. So they're encouraging one viewpoint of speech but discouraging another." Theriot calls that "blatant censorship" that is not tolerated by either the U.S. Supreme Court or the U.S. Constitution.

School policy and practice mandate students' attendance at the session. But Theriot says parents should be allowed to opt their children out of the training if it conflicts with their ideological or religious beliefs.

"In that training they're attempting to change the beliefs of the students about homosexuality, even if their parents don't consent to that -- and right now there is no 'opt out' provision for students," he explains. "As a matter of fact, the student plaintiff in this case got an unexcused absence when he didn't go."

The mandatory diversity training resulted from the settlement of an ACLU lawsuit that had challenged the district's ban against a Gay-Straight Alliance club.

A Question of Power ~ Charles Colson
Darwinists on the Losing Side of History

Last fall, I commented on the uproar over an article on intelligent design that was published in a peer-reviewed scientific journal. Since then, the uproar has only escalated.

Dr. Richard Sternberg, the editor who accepted and published Stephen Meyer’s article, has now filed a discrimination complaint. As an employee of the National Institutes of Health, Dr. Sternberg spends a lot of time as a research associate for the Smithsonian. But he’s probably the only research associate there whose access to the research collections he needs is limited, and who was asked to give up his office space—at least, that’s what Sternberg charged in his official complaint to the Office of Special Counsel.

Dr. Jonathan Coddington, Sternberg’s supervisor at the Smithsonian, is denying that any of this took place. The Office of Special Counsel hasn’t yet made a determination in the case. But it is taking Sternberg’s complaint seriously enough to investigate. And as Bruce Chapman, president of the Discovery Institute, observes, it’s hard to believe Sternberg would make all these things up. It’s not as if making groundless accusations could benefit his career with the government or his standing in the scientific community.

According to numerous reports, all is not well in the contemporary Church. There are millions of people in America who insinuate that they belong to Jesus Christ, but whose lives don’t match their claims. Equally disheartening is the fact that up to 95% of those making "decisions" for Christ never become incorporated into a local Church. And those who do occupy our churches often fail to grow into vibrant witnesses for Jesus Christ. Learn what has caused this tragic problem, and what we can do about it.

“As Bill Clinton’s National Security Advisor this guy [Sandy Berger] was at the nexus of the malfeasant, incompetent intelligence gathering and analysis that contributed to 9/11. The sentence he received is an insult to every American (military and civilian) ever issued any security clearance. Chuck Colsen went to jail. Gordon Liddy went to jail. Sandy Berger goes on the speaking circuit and waits for Hillary?” Geoff Metcalf

“Sandy’s sins were not unique. Former CIA Director John Deutch also was caught removing highly classified defense docs on his personal computer in 1999. He too ‘should’ have gone the way of Liddy and Colsen but Clinton blessed Deutch with a pardon.” Geoff Metcalf

Save The Scouts! ~ Grassfire.org

About the Petition:
In June of 2000, the Supreme Court ruled that the Boy Scouts of America had the authority and right to set the criteria for their leadership, because they were a private organization. The ruling stemmed from a lawsuit filed by a man who was told by the Scouts that he could not hold a position of authority over young boys because he was a homosexual.

Since then, the Scouts have come under blistering attack from the ACLU that has resulted in a loss of funding from numerous United Way chapters across the nation, and discriminatory attempts to exclude the Scouts from federal, state, and local facilities. With dwindling resources to parry such attacks, many Scout councils and programs that benefit our communities are being shut down, and most others struggle to survive.

In today’s culture, with single-parent homes, increased drug use and violence with teens, the Scouts remain a beacon that guides and directs young boys into becoming tomorrow’s leaders.

Grassfire’s very first petition was to benefit the Scouts. We understand the importance and relevance of Scouting. As such, we are urging Congress to draft legislation that promotes and protects the Scouts—allowing them to fulfill their mission without distraction from outside attack.

MERCY KISSING JUSTICE:

A TALE OF TWO JUDGES

By Nick Jackson

April 4, 2005
NewsWithViews.com

I believe that Terri Schiavo would be alive today and living with her parents had she not lived in Florida. I believe that if she lived in Richland County in Ohio, she would not have been cruelly executed by court order to starve to death. Am I implying that there is something special about Ohio that could have changed the outcome? I am most certainly not. I am implying that had Terri lived in a different location and been under the jurisdiction of another judicial system, with different judges, the outcome may have been very different.

There have been two cases that have made their way through the judicial system and found their conclusion in recent days. Both cases involved attempts to starve an individual in a so called “persistent vegetative state,” despite information to the contrary. Both cases had media misinformation and the lovers of death clamoring for “death with dignity.” Both had judges ready to kill a helpless disabled person. Both cases involved issues of guardianship, and parental rights. Let us examine the eerily similar paths, yet starkly different outcomes of two court cases: The case of Baby Aiden Stein in Ohio, and that of the late Ms.Terri Schiavo in Florida.

“Custody of Vegetative Boy Sought.” “Tentative Agreement Would Keep Brain Damaged Baby on Life Support.” The Associated Press headlines sound familiar to Terri’s case. Right before our eyes, a life and death struggle was carried out in Ohio by those who embrace the culture of death and those who love life. Little Baby Aiden Stein suspected to be a victim of shaken baby syndrome, lay precious and vulnerable and at the mercy of the courts. Lawyers and agencies fought to gain custody to remove a ventilator, and if that did not work than slowly starve Aiden to death by removing his feeding tube.

Aiden’s father was never charged with the crime, but somehow in this day and age you are guilty until proven innocent. Baby Aiden then became the criminal for being unable to speak for himself. Baby Aiden was sentenced to death by Probate Judge William Spicer who gave authority to Richland County Children Services, to remove Aiden from life support. RCCS had testified that Stein was blind, deaf, unable to speak and unaware of himself and his environment. According to observers from Summit County Right to Life and family members, Baby Aiden smiles, opens eyes to the sound of voices, turns to look, scowls in discomfort with the multiple connections and restraints on his little arms, shifts his body, changes positions, breathes sleeps and responds to Grandma’s voice when Grandma Dawn speaks to him.

Ellen Kaforey, the Court appointed guardian of Baby Aiden, was intending to remove the ventilator until the Ohio Supreme Court issued a stay that very morning. The Ohio Supreme Court heard 30 minutes of arguments about whether to permit Stein to be removed from life support against his parents' wishes. His parents fought desperately to save their baby. The Ohio Supreme Court ruled Stein cannot be removed from life support against the parent's wishes unless their parental rights have been permanently removed as guardians. A custody hearing was held in Richland Thursday March 24th. Judge Ron Spon of Richland County Juvenile Court granted custody to Aiden’s Grandmother who intended to fight for the baby’s life. The parents were willing to give up custody to the grandmother so that Aiden might live. "It's a very balanced and just outcome," he said. "Mercy and justice have kissed one another by the outcome of this proceeding today."

In Florida, on March 24th when “mercy and justice had just kissed one another,” Terri Schiavo, the precious and beautiful handicapped woman who tugged at the soul of our nation, was lying helplessly in bed on her 6th day of being starved and dehydrated to death. Her parents too were fighting desperately for their child’s life. Terri was undergoing what euthanasia advocates and their ilk would consider an act of “mercy.”

One local judge, Judge George Greer from Pinellas County, held the power to murder an innocent woman by judicial decree. Terri Schiavo, was considered guilty of the same crime that Baby Aiden was, not being able to speak for herself. She was also labeled by so called medical experts as being in a “persistent vegetative state.” Although, she responded to environmental stimuli, smiled, and responded to her mother and father. Judge Greer ignored 33 affidavits questioning her diagnosis, and instead took the word of a morally compromised husband, and a medical expert who had previously spoken to the Hemlock Society and nicknamed himself Dr. Evil. Greer took the word of Mr. Schiavo who had an epiphany 7 years ago that his wife wanted to be starved to death and quickly cremated.

Not only did Judge Greer execute a handicapped woman, he overlooked abuse, neglect, conflict of interest, the American’s with Disabilities Act, and the U.S Constitution. In addition, he ignored a congressional subpoena, and snubbed his nose at the other two branches of government.

With one stroke of the gavel, two human beings created in the image of God received their verdict. Not by a jury of their peers mind you, but by judges. Two innocent people very much alive, two different judges, two different outcomes. One judge chose death, the other chose life. “I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live.” Deut. 30:19. We praise God that Baby Aiden is alive, and we mourn for Terri Schiavo.

We can point fingers and blame Jeb Bush, George Bush, Michael Schiavo, Judge Greer, and certainly they are either through action or inaction responsible for Terri’s death. However, the blame rests solely on the American Church who once again failed to awaken from her coma while the Roe v. Wade of Euthanasia was being decided in Pinellas County in Florida. How did most Christian’s respond? They ran out to get a living will.

As we look back at these two cases, and the living parables that God has put before our nation, we must consider, what next America? Will we continue to reject God, and sit idly by while innocent blood is shed on our land? Will the church hearken to the words of Jeremiah, “For if ye thoroughly amend your ways and your doings; if ye thoroughly execute judgement between a man and his neighbor; If ye oppress not the stranger, the fatherless, and the widow, and shed not innocent blood in this place, neither walk after other gods to your hurt, then will I cause you to dwell in this place, in the land that I gave to your fathers, for ever and ever.” Jeremiah 7:5-7.

May the American Church of Jesus Christ repent of our moral indifference, profligacy, inaction and blindness, and may mercy and justice kiss one another once again in America.

CHOOSE SPOUSES WITH CAUTION

By Betty Freauf

April 4, 2005

NewsWithViews.com

I don't believe I've observed such controversy between people as I've heard since Terri Schindler Schiavo's feeding tube was removed during Easter week and it's frightening that about two out of three people (about 65%) seem to agree with the starvation and dehydration procedure and if they are married, I hope they chose their spouse with careful consideration especially when it comes to spiritual matters.

But what's amazing is how long Terri fought to live. Aron Ralston in his book BETWEEN A ROCK AND A HARD PLACE told how he knew he had to cut off his arm in order to free himself from between two boulders or he'd die from dehydration before he'd starve. He drank his own urine. He extracated himself after a week. He was weak but alive. There was a two-hour story on TV about him last year.

America had already begun down the slippery slope towards another Holocaust but the Terri Schindler Schiavo story put us into a free fall and it was all played out on our TV screens. It has all the ingredients for a future movie - a young woman, an adulterous husband, a family and a country deeply polarized.

And while the media tells about the victimization of women, in Terri's case, they continually mischaracterized her medical condition which helped persuade 65% of the people to react to polls with predetermined outcomes from fraudulent questions that she should be allowed to die.

When Michael Schiavo's attorney, George Felos, gave his lengthy press conference after she died he said Michael wanted his wife to die in tranquility and he glorified death by dehydration and starvation ad nauseum, all the while journalists allowed him total control as if they were listening to a cult leader. Shades of Heavens Gate, creepy crawly Kevorikan, and Jim Jones in Guyana, South America flashed before my eyes. While there are some exceptions in the press corp, I find most are quick to adhere to the liberal agenda they were taught in journalism school and they failed to ask any truly prying questions of Felos.

I was watching and recording on video the night Hannity and Colmes on FOX had two Michael Schiavo women supporters on the program. They sat right across from Colmes in the studio. One had a T-shirt on that said "REVOLUTION COMMUNIST YOUTH." The camera flashed on it and quickly off but I thought I'd seen "communist". I figured I'd have to watch the video in slow motion because the camera never showed it again but Hannity, who was in Florida with the Schindlers, saw it too and asked what it said. While Colmes continued to criticize the involvement of Congress and the President, he chose to ignore what was right before his eyes on that T-shirt.

To some journalists "truth" has nothing to do with what is really happening but what they "feel" is happening. These emotional reasons are meaningless and are usually based on half truths which are propagated on a daily basis by a controlled media who count on people no longer having the ability to reason for themselves or having a long memory or a video running!

When Terri's food source was disconnected, there were two headlines that dominated the media about the same time. Both reported death and killing. One was about the killing by a youth at the Indian School in Minnesota. The other was a judicial decree in Florida. The media deplored one and supported the other.

How can the media justify such inconsistencies with a straight face? It's called cognitive dissonance - a state of mind where one's values and beliefs since childhood are being attacked by opposite (contrary) thinking. This attack on sound judgment continues on a daily basis through exposure to the media. "Cognitive dissonance results in the creation of mush in the brain, an inability to think logically", says long-time education researcher, Charlotte Iserbyt. [Read]

Terri's death will have huge implications and will redefine, with the help of a corrupt judicial system and a lazy media, what a terminal patient is was redefined.

I often wondered how Hitler's brutal acts could come to fruition without the German people standing up and saying, "No!" But in Florida, much of this higgliedypiggledy has been once again deliberately caused by the mainline media by lack of competent journalism and fair and balanced reporting with lots of common sense which could be our best life preserver. But instead, the media prefers to scare us out of our knickers, as the British say, so people are running to attorneys to get their Advanced Medical Directives hoping when their time comes, their orders will be followed. In some hospitals, all the family has to do is put DO NOT RESUSCITATE and the angel of death will follow out the orders.

It's ironic that the majority of left-wing radicals would put someone in jail for the sin of racial profiling faster than they would a potential bomber. In Terri's case, a convicted killer will have more "rights" to due process than she did. President Bush, who wants to free all people in the world through wars and democracy, couldn't free one helpless woman from a out-of-control judiciary and then said "The essence of civilization is that the strong have an obligation to protect the weak."

Where were the mostly trim, mostly blond mostly young Media Queens who appear on our TV sets dressed in tight little dresses or pants and silky shirts? They weren't standing up for Terri because Michael had insisted it was Terri's "choice" to die.

When they chase a story, they usually report on the unlucky women who shared the same infected foot basin in just one nail salon in California but this Terri Schiavo story is much bigger than that. I understand there are something like 30,000 people right now on feeding tubes in America. What about all those who are on respirators, dialysis machines and those with cerebral palsy, muscular dystrophy, multiple sclerosis, AIDS and those with chronic illnesses and over the age of 65 and all others which are a drain on the social security system. The list is endless? Who will speak for them? [Read] [Read]

In the initial stages of the guardianship over Terri, the Schlinders were outgunned, outspent and outmaneuvered while Michael was given the support of the "Right to Die"/Hemlock society movement which were instrumental in getting the "Death with Dignity" initiative passed in Oregon in 1994. When Oregonians tried to repeal it in a November 1997 special election, assisted suicide foes raised $2.25 million with George Soros giving $150,000 to defeat the measure.

About 40 years ago, I was watching the television and there was a program on and don't ask me why, but I've never forgotten the bottom line that 65% of people will discount their own conscience and bow to authority figures.

And then I read about it on NewsWithViews.com. Investigative Reporter John Taft was writing in the article about how juries bow to authority but we can certainly see after the Terri Schiavo case and how the police stood by and allowed Terri to starve and become dehydrated, should be of grave concern to every living human being because we all have someone in our family or friends who the state now considers "useless eaters" or "non persons." Major bio-ethicists in this country have declared that people who cannot communicate well are "non-persons" and subject to have their organs harvested. (Source: Portland, Oregon KXL Radio. Lars@... 3/31/2005)

Taft writes during the years of 1961 and 1962 Doctor Stanley Milgram, a brilliant psychologist with Yale University, created some revealing experiments exposing the dark side of human beings. I assume that's what I saw on TV and remember to this day. Dr. Milgram wanted to obtain an insight as to why the Nazi war criminals who committed atrocities against humanity willingly participated in the deaths of millions of people. Often their excuse was, "I was just following orders and doing my job, sir." Taft asks, "Were these men and women abjectly evil, following orders, or was there another reason?"

He writes Dr. Milgram's experiments gave some insightful answers that help show why Hitler and other tyrants throughout recorded history have often had popular support of the population...and says under certain conditions, the Dr. Jekylls of today can easily become the cruel and repulsive Mr. Hydes of tomorrow and then Taft explains about how a simulated machine was set up to deliver electrical shocks to the victim by the learner who was subject to the instructor's direction. To make a long story short, and you can read the whole article on NWV, two out of three people (65%) would continue delivering shocks to the victim who was screaming in excruciating pain. The teacher would tell them to pay no attention to the screams, just apply the voltage and 65% of the people did what they were told. This experiment was shades of the Manchurian candidate. These frightening numbers are similar to those who wanted Terri's food tube pulled. [Read]

This will come down to a matter of dollars and cents. It will be gradual at first but the culture of death will continue. The communist-controlled United Nations wants to reduce the population to about 1 1/2 billion from the current approximately six billion. They do it by wars and starvation in third world countries. In industrialized countries, they use such things as "Death with Dignity", holding back a cure for cancer, manufacturing the AIDS virus and recently, the media is warning about the Bird flu which could kill thousands.

In conclusion, I have to ask. Is Michael Schiavo truly the evil individual, a cad like Scott Peterson, that comes across on the TV screen or did he innocently become involved with some occult of death?

This story isn't going to end for a long time as more and more facts are revealed. It's already being exposed about some strange interlocks that George Felos and his friends had with the Hospice where Terri was placed five years ago. The mere fact that Hospice, as a general rule, only takes terminal patients with six months or less to live, should run up red flags. Maybe Bill O'Reilly at FOX and his staff will finally get to the bottom of it. Ya sure! Better late than never, Bill.

Like HW Bush, GW Bush and Porter Goss, the new CIA director, Negroponte is a Yale man. I wonder if he was a member of “Skull and Bones” at Yale? One thing for sure, Negroponte has always been a Bush man.

INTELLIGENCE CZAR RESUME:

TORTURE, TERROR, ILLICIT ARMS

Patrick Briley

NewsWithViews.com

Bush’s new nominee for national intelligence director has a background in human rights and Geneva Convention violations with respect to torture and renditions just like the new attorney general Alberto Gonzales and the new Homeland Security director Michael Chertoff:

“John Negroponte was ambassador to Honduras from 1981-1985. As such he supported and carried out a US-sponsored policy of violations to human rights and international law. Among other things he supervised the creation of the El Aguacate air base, where the US trained Nicaraguan Contras during the 1980's. The base was used as a secret detention and torture center, in August 2001 excavations at the base discovered the first of the corpses of the 185 people, including two Americans, who are thought to have been killed and buried at this base.”

“During his ambassadorship, human rights violations in Honduras became systematic. The infamous Battalion 316, trained by the CIA and Argentine military, kidnaped, tortured and killed hundreds of people. Negroponte knew about these human rights violations and yet continued to collaborate with them, while lying to Congress."

There is even more about Negroponte's role in Iran/Contra and in Honduras and Nicaragua sourced in further discussion below.

Like HW Bush, GW Bush and Porter Goss, the new CIA director, Negroponte is a Yale man. I wonder if he was a member of “Skull and Bones” at Yale? One thing for sure, Negroponte has always been a Bush man.

The son of a Greek shipping magnate, Negroponte would know another shipping magnate, the arms trafficker, drug smuggler and money launderer, Adnan Khashoggi (see SIDEBAR below) who was directly involved in Iran Contra with Negroponte.

Khashoggi and Negroponte were also “knowledgeable”of the arms dealing, drug trafficking and money laundering activities related to the 9-11 attacks as described by FBI translator and whistleblower Sibel Edmonds:

“Negroponte, the son of a Greek-American shipping magnate, was born in London in 1939, graduated from Yale, and entered the Foreign Service in 1960. From 1971 to 1973, Negroponte was the officer-in-charge for Vietnam at the National Security Council (NSC) under Henry Kissinger. In 1987, during the administration of George Bush the elder, Negroponte returned to the NSC to work under Colin Powell as deputy assistant to the president for national security affairs. Within two years, he was back in Latin America; Bush appointed Negroponte ambassador to Mexico, where he served from July 1989 to September 1993. There, he officiated at the block-long, fortified embassy and directed, among other things, U.S. intelligence services to assist the war against the Zapatista rebels of Chiapas.”

“But it was during his tour as ambassador to Honduras that Negroponte earned his reputation for being soft on human rights abuses. From 1981 to 1985, Negroponte was U.S. ambassador to Honduras, where he helped prosecute the contra war against Nicaragua and helped strengthen the military dictatorship in Honduras.”

Yet, according to a four-part series in the Baltimore Sun, in 1982 alone the Honduran press ran 318 stories of murders and kidnappings by the Honduran military. In a 1995 series, Sun reporters Gary Cohn and Ginger Thompson detailed the activities of a secret CIA-trained Honduran army unit, Battalion 316, that used "shock and suffocation devices in interrogations. Prisoners often were kept naked and, when no longer useful, killed and buried in unmarked graves."

“In a 1997 roundtable gathering at the Center for International Policy, Sun reporter Cohn noted that Negroponte was central to the human rights violations." Said Cohn, "He was ambassador when the worst of the abuses were taking place. He knew everything that was going on." "Not exactly the moral sensibility you want in a UN ambassador," notes New Republic's Wildman.

“Even today, Negroponte is unrepentant, arguing that, given the political realities, his hands were tied. As he told CNN, "Some of these regimes, to the outside observer, may not have been as savory as Americans would have liked; they may have been dictators, or likely to [become] dictators, when you would have been wanting to support democracy in the area. But with the turmoil that [was there], it was perhaps not possible to do that."

The quote in the paragraph above by Negroponte reveals that Negroponte was likely chosen because he has the exact mentality and philosophy of Presidents HW and GW Bush. As pointed out in my article FBI and DOJ Connivance Interconnect Terror Attacks dated 8/15/02, President GHW Bush publicly advocated suspension of the US Constitution and violation of laws by CIA and FBI agents inside the US to allow domestic spying on Americans. This is what President GW Bush and his appointees to the Attorney General (Gonzales), CIA (Goss), Homeland Security (Chertoff) and now Intelligence Czar, Mr. Negroponte have in mind when they take actions to take American freedoms and privacy for a false promise of security. Like GW Bush, their past track records on torture and arms and drug trafficking and money laundering with known AlQaeda terror backers are proof enough.

And: Forces at Work to Build a US Police State (Porter Goss)

SIDEBAR:

Adnan Khashoggi is the arms dealer and money launderer used by the Bushes for decades including in 9-11, Iran/Contra and in the BCCI mess with Saudi AlQaeda terror backer and Bush business associate Khalid Mahfouz (ran Dallas based InfoCom and Holyland Foundation for AlQaeda and Bush- attorneys at Akin and Gump). Mueller, the director of FBI covered up BCCI for the Bushes when Mueller was at DOJ. Mueller, Goss, Chertoff, Gonzales and now Negroponte will continue to squelch Sibel Edmonds attempts to expose all of this because they do not want the BCCI, Bush, Khalid Mahfouz, Holy Land, InfoCom and Khashoggi connections to 9-11 to be revealed.

THE ATTACK OF THE INVASIVE SPECIES

To borrow from Alice, the business of farming grows curiouser and curiouser.

Only the most blissfully unaware would think of today’s farming as a pure industry, driven solely by free-market principle and supply-demand economics, devoid of federal intervention and subsidy or international influence and trade treaty. But the picture painted at the 2005 Agricultural Forum, hosted Feb. 24-25 by the U.S. Department of Agriculture, holds the future of farmers as this: While one hand plants, the other is busied whapping back the conservationists who want nothing more than to control giant swaths of this nation’s lands.

How else to perceive the sheer abundance of conservation and land preservation tables in the exhibition hall of this forum?

Mixed among the expected displays the tables offering the likes of grains’ and soybeans’ outlooks and research on weather trends were slews of land-use and land policy materials. From new conservation programs to invasive species alerts, the core theme captured was this: Farmers are being bombarded from all directions with messages on environmentalism, to such extent that food production is starting to seem secondary to land preservation.

Just take the topic of invasive species, for one.

Defined as “alien species whose introduction does or is likely to cause economic or environmental harm to human health,” the issue was thrust front and center during former President Bill Clinton’s administration. In a 1999 executive order telling in itself, by the way, as it indicates little support from Congress Clinton tasked officials from a range of federal departments, from Commerce and Interior to Transportation and Defense, to form a council and develop a management plan to halt the spread of invasive species.

Given that invasive species is defined as alien species, and that alien species is subsequently defined as “any species, including its seeds, eggs, spore, or other biological material capable of propagating that species, that is not native to that ecosystem,” the management plan ostensibly carries with it justification to oversee the spread of almost any plant, animal or organic life form nationwide. As an aside, it would seem logical that Americans themselves could be labeled “invasive species,” as those of English, Irish, French, and the rest of the descending ethnicities came from abroad, and have since arguably “caused economic and environmental harm.”

But back to point, and the significance of this executive order, which is that the federal agencies making up the Invasive Species Council have, at their disposal, a vast array of laws and powers to carry out eradication efforts, including the right to control activities on private lands, especially those located near national parks, forests and ranges.

Interestingly, both Defense and State departments are exempted from Invasive Species Council mandates. But for the rest of America, the danger of these species is real so real, in fact, that it’s characterized, rather humorously, as one of the most vicious threats facing our nation since well, since the last environmental threat, anyway.

In its management plan, Meeting the Invasive Species Challenge, the Council found “invasive species are everywhere” and are “one of the most serious environmental threats of the 21st century.”

Wow, that’s pretty darn serious. Who would have thought the likes of golf course grass seed, commonly imported from Afghanistan, could carry such risk? If only the invasive species weren’t so sneaky, perhaps the level of danger would not be so high.

But these pesky, oft-invisible critters “move as unknown stowaways and hitchhikers by air, water, rail or road, threatening “plant, animal and human health” in the process, refusing to rest until the devastation is complete, the report continues.

The cost to the innocent? Roughly $137 billion and untold acres per year, researchers say.

“Every year, (invasive species) spread across three million additional acres, an area twice the size of Delaware. Every day, up to 4,600 acres of additional federal public areas in the (West) are negatively impacted, this same Invasive Species Council report finds.

Good God, why hasn’t someone called out the National Guard? If the United States is losing the comparable land mass of two Delaware's per year, then shouldn’t we be doing something other than setting up informational booths at farming forums?

Of course, maybe this scare is just that - yet another environmental fright thrown our way, next to climate change and global warming, to enact an agenda that seems more aligned with taking and controlling private property rather than truly “saving” humans from any real danger.

The day after I spoke with Inhofe in January 1999, his DC office called me and told me they had been instructed by Senator Inhofe to send all letters and evidence pertaining to me, the Pentagon terrorism advisor, and the OKC bombing case directly to the Senate Intelligence Committtee.

DID INHOFE KNEW OF CRIMINAL

ACTIVITY IN OKC BOMBING?

Patrick Briley
April 4, 2005
NewsWithViews.com

David Schippers was the legal counsel for the House Managers of the Senate trial of President Clinton. He recently published a book entitled “SellOut “ and appeared on TV and radio programs talking about the meeting he, the House managers such as Henry Hyde and US Senators had while preparing for the Senate trial.

On page 21 of his book, Schippers states that Senator Inhofe of Oklahoma came to the meeting with the group of Republican Senators , Domenici and Stevens, who opposed the House managers attempts to call 10 to 15 witnesses and to introduce much more serious evidence involving national security against the President besides the Lewinsky matter and other sex scandals.

In a live radio interview with Tom Valentine of Radio Free America, Schippers was asked to elaborate about Senator Inhofe’s conduct in the meetings with Schippers and the House managers. Schippers expressed anger about Inhofe in the interview. While Schippers said that Inhofe did not openly oppose the House mangers, Schippers also said that Inhofe did not speak up in the meetings to support the House managers or to rebuke the other Senators that Schippers accused of reprehensible acts and statements in the meetings.

The other Senators had flaunted their contempt for the Constitution and even their own Senate rules and yet Inhofe did or said nothing about it according to Schippers. Schippers went on to say that Inhofe has not really adequately spoken up about the blocking of the House managers or the corruption of his fellow Senators or the other evidence of criminality even to this day.

Gary Hoitsma, Inhofe’s press secretary, contacted me from Washington DC at my home on September 12, 2000 in an attempt to address my concerns. I also called Hoitsma on September 19, 1999 to inform Hoitsma in detail of what Schippers had said publicly about Inhofe on the Valentine radio program. And Hoitsma acknowledged that he knew that Inhofe and Valentine had known each other for more than twenty years.

Hoitsma said that Inhofe had been in favor of calling witnesses at the Senate trial before the meetings with the House managers and other Senators. But he also said he did not know why Inhofe did not speak up about the witnesses when it counted in the meetings. And Hoitsma went on to strongly criticize Senators Stevens and Domenici for their opposition in the meetings. He said they, and not Senator Inhofe, should be blamed. I asked him, well then why had the public not heard a complaint about Stevens and Domenici from Inhofe or his office? He said he did not know why.

Mr. Hoitsma told me that he and Senator Inhofe were aware of “criminal activity in the White House “ (I am quoting Mr. Hoitsma) at the time of the Senate trial. I pressed Mr. Hoitsma about why Inhofe was with the Senators who blocked the House managers and why Inhofe did not speak up in the meeting or after the meeting about his knowledge of “criminal activity in the White House”. Mr. Hoitsma stated that Inhofe had to “pick and choose” what issues Inhofe would pursue. I asked him if Inhofe had picked any of the criminal activity issues and he said he was not aware of any that Inhofe had yet picked.

I asked Hoitsma if Inhofe was aware of Schipper’s allegations in 1998 and 1999 that Gore and the White House had brought in one million immigrants to the US and illegally had them prematurely naturalized so they could vote Democratic in the 1996 national elections. Many of these immigrants were committing serious crimes of murder, robbery and rape and were in a position to vote in the 2000 national elections. Hoitsma said he and Inhofe were aware of the allegations and thought they may be true and that Inhofe had not picked this issue to pursue as well as other criminal activities. He was at a loss to explain Inhofe’s silence or inaction.

I asked Hoitsma why it was that Inhofe would at least not speak up for his own party about the illegal immigrant voters since they could help defeat Republicans in the 2000 elections. Hoitsma did not know the answer to my question he said.

My response to Hoitsma was that I was not aware that Inhofe had adequately picked or chosen or pursued any major issues relating to criminal activity. I told him Inhofe’s inaction and silence was indefensible particularly when Inhofe knew our country, like Rome was on fire and burning. He acknowledged that our country was, in effect, on fire with criminal activity in the White House and he even referred to conversations Inhofe had with former FBI agent Gary Aldridge about some of the criminal activities.

I went on to explain to Hoitsma that I had talked personally in detail to Inhofe in January 1999 about FBI and DOJ criminal conduct in the OKC bombing case, including but not limited to threats made by FBI agents against me, my wife, law enforcement and military personnel, and victims and witnesses in the case. I had reached Inhofe by phone at his home in Tulsa in January 1999. Inhofe told me he was on the phone at the same time with Senator Sessions of Alabama discussing the Senate trial for Clinton.

Inhofe had met me before and knew me since I served as a volunteer in his Senatorial election campaigns in 1994 and 1996. He even introduced me to his daughter, a professor at the University of Arkansas, during one of the campaign events.

During the phone call, Inhofe personally assured me he would take action on the matter and the information I and the Pentagon terrorism advisor had given him and his office in 1996, 1997, 1998, and 1999. Inhofe also told me he would help protect me and my wife from the threats of the FBI against me and my wife over the OKC bombing case.

Inhofe asked me the name of the FBI agent who had made the threats, and I told Inhofe it was James Carlysle as well as the wife of FBI agent Jon Hersely, Christy Hersely. Christy Hersely threatened my wife twice with loss of employment over what Hersely and the wife, Dee Vogel, of another FBI agent, Dan Vogel, had told my wife on the morning of the bombing about FBI foreknowledge and being tipped in advance.

Jon Hersely was the senior case agent on the OKC bombing case and testified for the FBI before the Federal Grand Jury, the Oklahoma County Grand Jury, the Federal trials in Denver and the Preliminary hearing on April 27, 1995. I believe he gave false, misleading testimony and deliberately withheld evidence of FBI criminal conduct in the case from the courts. He and Carlysle are known to have threatened other witnesses and falsified FBI interview reports with these witnesses including local law enforcement personnel.

This evidence given to Inhofe’s office and described by me to Inhofe included a tape recording of a conversation between an FBI agent and the terrorism advisor discussing the policy of allowing known Middle Eastern” terrorists to circulate for extended periods of time inside the US to track their movements before bringing them to justice even though they were in position to commit terrorist acts during the time.

This is consistent with testimony Louis Freeh gave to Congress in May 1995, in which Freeh openly discussed populating Middle Eastern cells in the US with known terrorists to track them. And according to the December 1998 New York Times, the highly paid and recruited CIA and FBI operative, Ali Mohammed, was indicted in December 1998 for his role in helping Bin Laden do the World Trade Center, the Kenyan and Tanzanian bombings, as well as setting up terrorists cells in the US believed to have assisted McVeigh in the OKC bombing. Mohammed’s activities occurred while he was an FBI operative out of Sacramento, California form 1992 to 1998, according to an FBI spokesman quoted in the Sacramento Bee.

The context of the taped conversation with the FBI agent and the Pentagon terrorism advisor was the OKC bombing as well as Ishan Barbouti, an Iraqi who had obtained weapons of mass destruction for Saddam Hussein and whose son, Haidar Barbouti, has been mentioned as a possible suspect in the OKC and Lockerbie bombing cases. The Barboutis had had contact with the CIA and were known to the Senate Intelligence Committee and Senator Dennis DiConcini in the late 1980s and in the aftermath of the Gulf War. I was also a topic of conversation during the taping in a way that even the Pentagon advisor and Mike Murray found repugnant.

Furthermore, Inhofe discussed directly with me that his former Chief of staff and closest advisor, Herb Johnson, had written and signed a letter pertaining to the OKC bombing cover-up and provided the letter for a TV reporter Herb had spoken to, that Inhofe knew of, and that I know personally. The letter describes the FBI and DOJ knowledge and cover-up of Middle Eastern involvement in the OKC bombing.

I had spoken with and worked with Herb Johnson on several occasions during the 1996 Senate campaign to help him and Inhofe locate a campaign headquarters in OKC. I thought Herb was an honorable and courageous man. I was very sorry to learn of his heart attack in DC in November 1998. I know someone who was his pallbearer and who worked closely with Herb on the OKC bombing starting moments after the explosion.

I also told Inhofe about the letter his staff, Mike Murray and his legal counsel, Ed Wheeler had written to the FBI under Inhofe’s signature concerning me and the OKC bombing and about the FBI response. I explained to Inhofe that Wheeler had told me on at least three occasions, after the letters were sent and received, that Inhofe would not ever be informed about my case, the evidence provided by the Pentagon terrorism advisor, or the letters between his office and the FBI even though I have copies of the letters.

I told Inhofe that either his staff was sandbagging him or they had been under orders not to tell him to maintain ”plausible deniability.” Although he thanked me for telling him this, he did not explain the actions of his staff.

The letter sent to the FBI by Inhofe’s office, under his signature, did not address the evidence provided by the Pentagon terrorism advisor and the letter was very weak and watered down compared to what Wheeler and Murray originally told me was going to be put in the letter. They both later acknowledged the letter’s weakness to me but would not give me an explanation for why it had been weakened. They delayed about six months sending the letter after first assuring me that a strong letter would be sent to the FBI in September of 1996 especially after Murray said he took the tape and played it for himself.

They told me later they did not want to send the letter until after the 1996 Senate campaign for fear it might come up in the election. Inhofe had been criticized by the Democrats in campaign ads for Inhofe publicly questioning why there had been such high absenteeism among Federal workers at the Murrah Building on April 19, 1995.

Murray and Wheeler sent me the FBI response to the Inhofe letter and I believe every sentence in the FBI’s letter was false. I wrote a rebuttal to the FBI letter and sent it to Wheeler and Murray. I asked them to have Inhofe respond to the FBI letter and address the points in my rebuttal letter. It was at that time that they told me they had not and would never make Inhofe aware of these letters or the evidence.

I called Julia Clay of Senator Inhofe’s office in Tulsa in 1996 and 1997 about the letters and the conduct of Wheeler and Murray. I regularly kept her informed of these matters and the OKC bombing case and threats to me and my wife by the FBI from 1995 through 1999. She spoke with me several times when I worked with Herb Johnson and she and her husband have known Inhofe for more than 35 years. On all occasions I spoke with her, she told me she would tell Inhofe.

I asked the DC office if they were retaining copies of everything they were sending to the Intelligence Committee and I told them in my opinion they should. They told me that they were not asked to retain copies but would ask if copies should be retained.

Inhofe and his staff had waited for over three years to send much of these materials to the Intell Committee and they were not retaining copies? Why did he wait so long? Did Inhofe want to make it look like he had done something after speaking to me and yet have deniability for not keeping records in his office on the letters and evidence?

I do not believe Inhofe had not been informed much earlier by his staff about the evidence and the letters. Particularly since his legal counsel was involved and even more because I made sure that Julia Clay did tell Inhofe in 1996, 1997, 1998 and 1999. Clay assures me she did tell Inhofe during those times.

In February 1999 I contacted a legal counsel for the Senate Intelligence Committee, Joan Vale Grimson, and told her about the Pentagon terrorism advisor, the correspondence between Inhofe and the FBI and the taped evidence concerning the OKC bombing as well as the Herb Johnson letter.

Mrs. Grimson, met with the Pentagon terrorism advisor in April 1999 for several hours to discuss the OKC bombing case. Senator Inhofe’s representative on the Senate Intelligence Committee, Ken Johnson was invited to the meeting. According to the Pentagon advisor, Ken Johnson showed up very late for the meeting and acted disinterested and did not contribute to the meeting or followup with any meaningful questions.

I called Mrs. Grimson and confirmed the meeting had taken place with the Pentagon advisor and Ken Johnson and her. I called Ken Johnson within a day of the meeting and reiterated my evidence and concerns about the OKC bombing. In my opinion, Johnson did not act very interested and to this day, to my knowledge, has not followed up with any meaningful questions with me or the Pentagon advisor.

Mrs. Grimson later apologized to me for the way the FBI had treated me, my wife and my family over the OKC bombing case. And she acknowledged that the Pentagon advisor had told her that the FBI had conducted the worst coverup of a criminal investigation in American history over the OKC bombing case. The Pentagon advisor had told the same thing to a legal counsel, Kolan Davis, for the Senate Judiciary Committee in Senator Charles Grassley’s office in my presence on December 15, 1997. I wrote a letter to the editor of a prominent national magazine quoting the advisor about the FBI coverup in the meeting with Kolan Davis, with the full permission of the advisor. My letter was published.

Inhofe sits on the Senate Intelligence and Armed Services Committees and as of this date, he and the Committees have not done a follow-up or investigation of the evidence and allegations about the OKC bombing case with me or the Pentagon terrorism advisor.

Inhofe had every opportunity to bring up criminal evidence against the White House and DOJ in the Senate trial including evidence he has about the FBI coverup of the OKC bombing case from his own Chief of staff, Herb Johnson. Why did he not bring it up then? Why has he still not told the public about it to this day? Why has he not taken any adequate actions to stop the criminal activities which Hoitsma says Inhofe is aware of including the OKC bombing?

I have been told by a reliable person, close to the OKC bombing investigation and in a position to know, that a prominent US Congressman had planned to bring up evidence pertaining to criminal misconduct by the White House in the OKC bombing case. However, due to the actions or inaction of some US Senators, Republican and Democratic, the US Congressman was blocked from doing so and the House Managers were not allowed to bring up evidence other than Lewinsky.

Of course, if this story is true, then why has this Congressman or the other Senators, like Inhofe, still not brought up the criminal allegations and evidence before the American people or in other legal forums? They are not restricted to just pursuing the matter in a Senate trial.

Even if the story about the US Congressman would turn out to not be accurate, I know some of what evidence Inhofe has and I know he did not bring it up at the Senate trial and still has not brought it up anywhere else. But, if Inhofe knew of the US Congressman’s evidence and desire to bring up the evidence on OKC, then Inhofe is really without excuse not to help the Congressman at the trial meetings or even now not make the evidence and allegations known.

Inhofe’s silence and inaction on these matters in the OKC bombing and the Senate trial is tantamount to criminal cover-up on his part. He has not upheld the Constitution or the laws of this land and has not adequately protected me or his fellow citizens. I told Hoitsma that Inhofe was not entitled to not pick the OKC bombing case as one he would not pursue given Inhofe’s knowledge of criminal conduct in the case by the FBI and DOJ.

Inhofe violated his promise to me to adequately pursue the OKC bombing case. Inhofe’s deliberate inaction is exposing me , my wife and family, and millions of Americans to Middle Eastern terrorism, a corrupt FBI and DOJ, and a corrupt White House. Inhofe is without excuse because Inhofe knows about the terrorism and White House criminal activity and he is not doing anything adequate to try and expose and stop it.

“To whom much is given, much is required,” I reminded Hoitsma. Hoitsma replied that Inhofe himself frequently quotes the same phrase. Therefore, Inhofe is totally without excuse since Inhofe knows better and deliberately has let American “burn” like Nero let Rome burn as he fiddled.

I told Hoitsma that Inhofe did not deserve to wear the mantel of authority Inhofe had assumed to protect this country and Christians because Inhofe had knowingly failed his country and the House managers and even me at a time when he was most needed.

Inhofe’s strong speeches on the floor of the Senate against Clinton and in defense of our military are not adequate in exposing and stopping the criminality and terrorism Inhofe really knows about. The speeches will not remove the blood from his hands if anyone gets killed because of his silence and inaction.

On September 1, 1983, KAL 007 was shot down by the Russians. Korean officials were notified that while the plane had to ditch, all the passengers were alive and well on Sakhalin Island, including U.S. Congressman Larry McDonald. This is in stark contrast to President Ronald Reagan's announcement that no passengers had survived in what became known as "Incident at Sakhalin." (search)

On December 10, 1991, former U.S. Senator Jessee Helms, in a message to then Russian President Boris Yeltsin, said: "The KAL 007 tragedy was one of the most tense incidents of the entire Cold War...Please provide a detailed list of the camps containing live passengers and crew, together with a map showing their location." Other such claims have been made. In the book, Incident at Sakhalin, pgs 4-5, it reads:

"At precisely ten o'clock, the South Korean minister of foreign affairs announced that he had received confirmation from the CIA that the plane had landed at Sakhalin. The crew and passengers are safe. Let us examine the CIA announcement about which so much as been written: The aircraft did not explode in flight and did not crash, but is known to have landed on Sakhalin. The passengers and crew are safe and the aircraft is undamaged."

No bodies or luggage was ever found at the alleged crash site and wreckage didn't amount to anything larger than a Piper single aircraft. All passengers disappeared from this Russian controlled area.

The families of KAL 007 Rescue have been receiving information of sightings for years that their family members a
