Hi, I'm an Aussie too and I either read in one of the recent papers here or saw on one of the news bulletins that Steve was definitely a Christian. There wasn't any doubt about it. That helped me to cope with all the news. I wished he'd maybe talked about that aspect of his life more. Still I'm glad he's in heaven now. I'm a Christian too and though I do witness to people I don't always talk about God every day to people. I try to get to know them first.

Also,
as far as his belief in Jesus Christ as God, the potential for being a
Christian, even though he spoke heathen words at times, like the animals
'evolving', he also mentioned God-- that God put him on earth to be a
conservationist. Am sure we Christians would like to believe that Terri
is a Christian now, and that the children are being trained that way, and
that Steve died as a Christian and is in heaven now. Of course, we don't know that.
