Re: Spoild My Appetite- cat syle!

Our Cat Family Photo (Not Our "Neutered" cat, but his descendents!)

They really are cute, and each one so different. The mom cat looks just like our old stinky male 'neutered' cat-- we wonder at times if he knows that they are his daughter (we think, maybe granddaughter) and her litter. He's not thrilled that they have taken over his domain, and that we feed 'em, etc.... but he's resigned himself to it all. Lee, being retired now (unemployable, due to medical malpractice) gets a kick out of watching them. They are entertaining, and I'm glad he has a diversion, even though the little critters are eating us out of house and home, haha. They are still kind of wild, but equate Lee with a sort of attachment with food. So they approach him, almost. I'm not exactly a safe fixture, in their little cat minds, but they have come to the conclusion that I am here. Our cat is 'crookie'. So the momma cat we named 'crooketta'- crooketta scott cat, that is. I first saw three cats in the litter, and wanted to go with the three stooges, so named them "very" (not knowing gender of said kitten at the time- the tiger), "squirrely" (the light brownish cat with blue eyes and lots of Siamese, blue eyes- the one who ate early in the picture), and "ho" (the runt, the black one with white boots and cute markings). Then lo and behold, another 'twin', sort of, to 'ho', so named her "nappy". (In honor of the nappy headed ho). Well, about three weeks ago, when they were all pretty good sized but Mom cat was much more protective, Nappy got killed. I think one of the neighbor's dogs did her in. It was interesting to watch them grieve- they actually did, for a day. So now it's just "Very, Squirrely and Ho", and the momma. --

For full names, "Very Hairy"

"Squirrely Furry"

Hidey (or Heidi, haven't decided for sure yet) Ho

Momma told me not to eat before dinner, ate anyway! The wildcat family we've been feeding! Mom had her kittens in our garage, she's the one on far right....
