any idea of the "chapters" you will have in there...you want a fermented section?

Cathy, you mention a ferment section. I have recipes for kimchi, rejuvelac, natto, and of course 'how to' on kefir, kombucha, homemade vinegar (kombucha left longer, etc.), and lots more great ferments, winemaking, in my FoodHerbHealth group, just use message topic box! Ferment is some of the best, healthiest, stuff you can use. Not sure how ... Read Biblical, except for things like "take a little wine for thy stomach's sake", and the jury is still out on the 'ferment versus non ferment' - my guess is when Jesus turned water into wine at the wedding it was fermented, high quality!-

Way cool, Cath! I personally drink kefir (make my own, of course), every day, drink kombucha (again, own), natto pills or caps sometimes, but they are so expensive, and the make your own kind is so stinky! (I think it tastes ok, once it's done, but my laziness kicks in), I make my own rejuvelac and drink it daily. Kimchi is wonderful, and I have a great recipe, but again, rather lazy on that score. Haven't gone to your site yet, but will, and likely will use some info from there for FoodHerbHealth group. -- Cindy

Very cool! Glad to meet you! Thanks Susan for getting 2 ferments together! LOL We do our own kefir, kefir cheese, water and juice kefir, kambucha, and all kinds of veggies that are naturally fermented! Have never done the natto so you will have to teach me! blessings!

I have learned to make a few things, but am not real clued up as to what is Biblically clean. Are you talking about OT food requirements? I think I have a few creations that would fit. Lamb curry (front portion of the lamb would work fine), Hummus, Szechuan beef (also front cuts), etc. I am not Jewish (love Yahushua my saviour however) but understand some of it, and could adjust recipes accordingly with some coaching.

Just a quick natto lesson- in USA, or if not in the orient, where they use spent rice straw and cooked soy beans, you can use dried (clean, brown) grass and cooked drained black beans, with a little salt (natural sea salt), line clean dry grass into container, pour on black beans, put more long dry clean straw (brown grass) over the top, make sure it's well covered and protected (you can put protective bags over the container, and the container should not be metal or probably even plastic.), put it OUTSIDE in a closed shed somewhere, never in sun, let it sit for several days - if it's hot outside like now in the summer, shorter number of days- and look at pictures online, it's sticky appearing, and once you get the grass off of the beans, it isn't as stinky, and eat the beans, make sure you fridge them when the natto is ready. Nattokinese (Vitamin K2) will fix bones, great for bone health. It's basically spoiled beans.

There are claims online that soybeans are not good for your health, but FERMENTED soybeans and tofu are good. This - whether soy or black beans - is definitely fermented.
