Dandelion - Taraxacum officinale

Dandelion is a common meadow herb of the Asteraceae or sunflower family, closely related to chicory. There are about 100 species. Its name is a corruption of the French "dents de lion", meaning "teeth of the lion."

Folk names include lion's tooth, bitterwort, wild endive, priest's crown, doonheadclock, piss-a-bed, Irish daisy, blow ball, yellow gowan, puffball, clock flower, swine snout, Pu gong ying, fortune-teller, and cankerwort.

In some countries, Dandelion is considered a blood purifier and is used for ailments such as eczema and cancer. Dandelion has also been used to treat poor digestion, water retention, and diseases of the liver such as hepatitis.

The first mention of the Dandelion as a medicine is in the works of Arabian physicians of the tenth and eleventh centuries. Thirteenth-century Welsh medicine lauds its properties.
 

Active Constituents
Dandelion is a source of potassium, sodium, calcium, phosphorus and iron. The leaves are a richer source of Vitamin A than carrots and contain some amounts of Vitamins B, C and D. The root contains bitter glycosides, tannins, triterpenes, sterols, volatile oil, choline, asparagin, and inulin.
 

Actions
Diuretic, hepatic, cholagogue, anti-rheumatic, laxative, tonic, bitter. It is a general stimulant to the system, especially to the urinary organs, and is primarily used in kidney and liver disorders.

The root is commonly used as a hepatic. The leaf, taken cool, acts as a diuretic.
 

Uses
The bitter compounds in the leaves and root help stimulate digestion and are mild laxatives. They also increase bile production in the gall bladder and bile flow from the liver. This makes Dandelion a great tonic for people with sluggish liver function due to alcohol abuse or poor diet. The increase in bile flow can help improve fat (including cholesterol) metabolism in the body.

The whole plant is valuable as a general tonic. It may be taken as an infusion of the leaf, a juice extraction, a root decoction, a fluid extract or a tincture. Fresh leaves may be added to salads. The juice extraction is the most potent for medicinal purposes.

Dandelion has reportedly been used to eradicate warts and to soothe calluses, bee stings, or sores.

Many herbalists view the Dandelion as an effective treatment for liver disease, even in extreme cases such as cirrhosis. It can also benefit the pancreas, kidneys, stomach, and spleen. The dried leaf, taken as a tea, is used as a mild laxative to relieve constipation.

Dandelion leaf is a good natural source of potassium, and will replenish any potassium that may be lost due to the herb's diuretic action on the kidneys. This means Dandelion is a safe diuretic in cases of water retention due to heart problems.

The herb is useful in cases of anaemia and hepatitis, and may help to lower high blood pressure. Dandelion may also provide relief for rheumatism and arthritis.

Dandelion therapy, consisting of therapeutic doses of dandelion preparations taken over time, may help reduce stiffness and increase mobility in situations of chronic degenerative joint disease.
 

Dandelion as a Diuretic
Most women experience pre-menstrual water retention. The familiar symptoms of weight gain, bloating, breast tenderness, and irritability can make the week prior to menstruation miserable.

A Diuretic helps the body with the elimination of urine. Synthetic diuretics flush important minerals such as potassium from the body. Potassium, together with sodium, helps to regulate muscle and nerve function. The loss of these minerals (called electrolytes) can cause dangerous muscle weakness and loss of co-ordination, and even heart rhythm disturbances. Dandelions are remarkable sources of natural potassium, and offer all the advantages of a balanced diuretic in natural form.
 

Dandelion as a Hepatic
A Hepatic is a herb, usually a bitter herb, which works particularly well on the liver by toning, nourishing, and strengthening it, and by empowering its activity as the primary blood-cleansing organ in the body.

The blood can be contaminated by stress, lack of exercise, poor diet, toxins, and genetic predisposition. When the blood doesn't flow actively, arthritic pains may result because gases or gravel materials are deposited in the joints. Skin disorders like eczema and psoriasis may result from the body trying to push toxins out through the skin.

Dandelion is also a bitter that functions as a Cholagogue. That is, it helps the digestion by increasing the flow of bile released from the gall bladder, which is essential in helping us utilise food nutrients and eliminate waste.

Collection
The roots are best collected between June and August when they are at their most bitter. Dig up in wet weather. Avoid breaking the roots. Shake off as much of the earth as possible and clean the roots. Cut off the crowns of leaves, but take care not to leave any scales on the top. Do not cut or slice the roots or the valuable milky juice on which their medicinal value depends will be wasted by bleeding.

It is best to harvest fresh young Dandelion leaves in the spring. The small, young leaves are less bitter, and may be eaten uncooked in salads. Larger leaves can be lightly steamed to reduce bitterness.
 

Preparations
Dandelion leaf has been used for centuries in Europe as a spring tonic (a medicine that invigorates and strengthens all systems) to help to purify the body after a long winter of rich foods and little exercise. The bitter taste of the leaves stimulates bile flow, which enhances liver function.

Dandelion leaf is one of the richest natural sources of beta-carotene, and contains more iron and calcium than spinach.

To make a tea from Dandelion leaves, pour boiling water over two teaspoons of dried Dandelion leaves (or four teaspoons of freshly chopped) and steep for ten minutes. Strain, and drink three to four cups daily as needed. While Dandelion leaf tea is extremely safe, it's always a good idea to increase your intake of potassium-rich foods such as apples, bananas, carrots, oranges, and potatoes when using a diuretic.

As a general tonic and to stimulate digestion, 3-5 grams of the dried root, 5-10ml of a root tincture, or 20-30 drops of a fluid extract can be used three times per day. Some herbalists recommend the alcohol-based tincture or fluid extract because the bitter principles are more soluble in alcohol.

As a mild diuretic or appetite stimulant, 4-10 grams of dried leaves can be added to 1 cup of boiling water and taken as a decoction. 5-10ml of fresh juice from the leaves or 2-5ml of tincture made from the leaves can be used three times per day. The fresh juice is the most effective.

The dried Dandelion leaves are also used in many digestive or diet drinks and herb beers. Dandelion Beer is a fermented drink common in many parts of the UK and Canada.
 

Cautions
Dandelion is a safe and nutritious herb widely used throughout the world. No health hazards have been reported when Dandelion is used in designated therapeutic doses.

No interactions have been reported between Dandelion and standard medications.

Because Dandelion acts as a cholagogue, which means that it increases the flow of bile, people with closure of the biliary ducts and other biliary ailments should not use it.

In cases of stomach ulcer or gastritis, Dandelion should be used cautiously, as it may cause overproduction of stomach acid.

Use in small doses, and take advice from a practitioner if you are using any other medication or suffer from any chronic conditions. Seek medical advice during pregnancy.

Those experiencing fluid or water retention should consult a practitioner before taking Dandelion leaves. People taking the leaves should be sure that their practitioner monitors potassium levels.

The milky latex in the stem and leaves of fresh Dandelion may cause an allergic rash in some individuals.

Be sure to harvest only unsprayed Dandelions and consult a good plant identification book if you have any doubts as to what Dandelions look like.

Bush wants pharma Trojan Horse unbridled

March 28, 2005—The New Freedom Commission (NFC) was established by executive order on April 29, 2002.

On that date at a speech in New Mexico, George W. Bush said mental health centers and hospitals, homeless shelters, the justice and school systems have contact with individuals suffering from mental disorders but that too many Americans fall through the cracks of the current system and so he created the commission to ensure "that the cracks are closed."

On July 22, 200,3 the NFC recommended redesigning the mental health system in all 50 states and said, "Achieving this goal will require . . . a greater focus on mental health care in institutions such as schools, child welfare programs, and the criminal and juvenile justice systems. The goal is integrated care that can screen, identify, and respond to problems early," in a press release.

Despite a nearly 500 percent increase in psychiatric drugs being prescribed to children in the previous six years, the NFC recommended a plan of mandatory mental health screening for all public school students and follow-up treatment with drugs when needed.

The fact is, this is nothing more than another elaborate profiteering scheme hatched by Bush and the pharmaceutical industry to convert the millions of people in public systems into customers for new psychiatric drugs in order to funnel more tax dollars to pharma.

David Oaks, director of MindFreedom, a coalition of groups which advocate for the rights of people with psychiatric disabilities, says the plan amounts to "No child left undrugged."

A report by Allan Jones, claims the "pharmaceutical industry has methodically compromised our political system at all levels and has systematically infiltrated the mental health delivery system of this nation."

Jones says the NFC "doesn't have the Orwellian goal of drugging the populace for a political purpose; it's the Orwellian goal of drugging the populace for an economic purpose."

Jones was an investigator in the Pennsylvania Office of Inspector General (OIG), Bureau of Special Investigations, when the model for this profiteering scheme was implemented in Pennsylvania. He calls it a "Trojan Horse" for the pharmaceutical industry.

Jones recently answered questions from Independent Media TV regarding his investigation of the unhealthy alliance between Pennsylvania officials and pharma that facilitated the adoption of a scheme in that state that could potentially lead to thousands of people being prescribed dangerous psychiatric drugs for the sole purpose of increasing drug company profits.

"It is a story of the betrayal of our society's most helpless citizens," Jones said.

The program being implemented in Pennsylvania was based on the Texas Medication Algorithm Project (pronounced TMap), created in 1995 while Bush was governor.

TMAP began with an alliance of persons representing pharma, the Texas university, mental health and corrections systems and was made possible through a $1.7 million grant from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation; a Johnson & Johnson related foundation. Johnson & Johnson owns Janssen Pharmaceutica and Janssen/Ortho McNeil.

Let there be no mistake, TMAP's underlying goal was to create a marketing scheme to ensure the sale of new psychiatric drugs. Because clinical trials did not favor these drugs, an alternative market had to be created. So the alliance came up with the idea to legitimize the drugs by "Expert Consensus Guidelines," rather than scientific studies, by soliciting favorable opinions from doctors and psychiatrists of its own choosing.

Originally, Janssen funded the "Expert Consensus" survey and analysis, but by 1996 when its results were published, Eli Lilly and Austrazeneca were also involved in the funding, and since that time, Pfizer, Novartis, Ortho-McNeil, GlaxoSmithKline, Abbott, Bristol Myers Squibb, Wyeth-Ayerst, Forrest Laboratories and US Pharmacopeia joined in.

From then on, the "Expert Consensus" process became the standard device for approving drugs for treating patients and was employed repeatedly between 1996 and 2003.

The "expert doctors" chosen to participate in the process included people who had already published articles favoring the new drugs and not surprisingly, many were later found to have secret financial ties to pharma.

For example, one doctor chosen was Jack Gorman, who, according to the March 13, 1999, New York Post, resigned from New York's Psychiatric Institute after it was discovered that he had received over $140,000 from drug companies in the year between April 1, 1997 and March 31, 1998.

As it turns out, Gorman received speaking fees, travel accommodations, board memberships and consulting fees from Janssen, Eli Lilly and Pfizer, including $12,000 from Pfizer at the same time that he was conducting research on Pfizer drugs.

Twelve other researchers from the New York Institute were also involved in the Expert Consensus process, and each was found to have profited from drug company money.

Why Texas?

Pharma probably decided Texas was the ideal start-up location for its new marketing scheme because it had the largest prison system in the country, with approximately 150,000 inmates, and a well-populated mental health system.

In Texas, political influence extends to state universities, hospitals and prisons, with regents and administrators appointed by the governor. So when it came time to persuade Texas officials to adopt TMAP, in addition to flooding the state with lobbyists, pharma began making campaign contributions to the governor, state lawmakers, and even judges.

For example, in 1994, the industry made no contributions to Texas politicians, according to the National Institute on Money in State Politics. However, during the 1998 campaigns, it made over 250 contributions, totaling $152,000, to candidates running for state office. In 2002, it made more than 400 contributions, totaling $384,735, and poured millions more into state universities.

The money turned out to be well spent because in the end, pharma was able to implement TMAP based on the decision of a few politically appointed officials. In addition, Texas lawmakers expanded Medicaid coverage to persons who would not ordinarily qualify and increased funding for state institutions, paving the way for thousands of new customers.

As governor, Bush backed legislation that required private industries to increase insurance coverage for drugs, and before leaving for Washington, recommended a $67 million increase in the state budget to help pay for the drugs prescribed in public institutions.

The list of drugs chosen by the Expert Consensus included Risperdal, Zoloft, Paxil, Zyprexa, Seroqual, Geodone, Depakote, Celexa, Wellbutron, Zyban, Remeron, Serzone, Effexor, Buspar, Adderall, and Prozac and all were manufactured by the above companies.

The adoption of TMAP came with the requirement to use these drugs on all patients in the system. A doctor was free to choose which patented drug to use, but could not prescribe a generic unless treatment with at least two, often three, patented drugs failed.

Pharma claimed that these drugs were safer, more effective, and had less side-effects than generics, and saturated the medical journals with reports of favorable studies conducted by researchers who later turned out to be directly funded by the drug companies.

Many practitioners disagreed with the endorsement of the new antipsychotics. For instance, TMAP claimed Risperdal, Zyprexa and Seroqual were safer and more effective than generics in treating schizophrenia.

But according to the 2000 British Medical Journal, a study by Dr John Geddes, funded by the British Department of Health, disproved this claim. Geddes reviewed the results of independent clinical trials on over 12,000 patients to determine the actual effectiveness and dangers of the atypical and typical antipsychotics and found:

There is no clear evidence that atypical antipsychotics are more effective or are better tolerated than conventional antipsychotics. Conventional anti-psychotics should usually be used in the initial treatment of an episode of schizophrenia unless the patient has previously not responded to these drugs or has unacceptable extrapyramidal side effects.

Its important to note that this study was conducted without drug company funding.

Robert Whitaker, the author of Mad in America, found biased reviews and deceptive reporting were used in approving and promoting these drugs. Through an FIOA request, he gained access to FDA raw data on the drug trials and found the FDA did not support claims that they were safer or more effective than generics. In fact, he discovered a letter to Janssen about Risperdal that said just the opposite and included the warning: "We would consider any advertisement or promotion labeling for RISPERDAL false,

misleading or lacking fair balance . . . if there is a presentation of data that conveys the impression that Risperidone is superior to haloperidol (a generic antipsychotic) or any other marketed antipsychotic drug product with regard to safety or effectiveness."

However, the FDA warning did not keep Risperdal off the list, because according to Whitaker, "While the FDA had the authority to stop Janssen from making false claims in ads, it had no control over what physicians, paid by Janssen to conduct the trials, reported in their medical journals or told the press."

Pharma Expands Market Scheme To Pennsylvania

TMAP was lauded in NFC publications as a model program recommended for the entire country. The Pennsylvania version of the program, PennMap, was adopted in 2002, by the Department of Public Welfare (DPW), Office of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services (OMHSAS), and fully implemented in January of 2003.

To help fund the costs that would arise under PENNMAP, the Pennsylvania Office of Mental Health & Substance Abuse Services (OMHSAS) created a special plan to pay for drugs prescribed to persons not eligible for Medicaid and attached it to a program designed to pay for HIV drugs with public funds.

Shortly after Jones began his investigation into the possible financial influence by pharma on Pennsylvania officials in promoting PENNMAP, he discovered an off-the-books slush fund account within the OMHSAS.

"When charged with examining the receipt of drug company funds by state employees," Jones said, "I began to look at the overall issue of pharma marketing and immediately became alarmed that tactics used in marketing to the private sector were being replicated with public employees. Trips, perks, travel, honorariums, consultant fees etc," he said.

"The most shady aspects of the program emerged quickly," he said. The recommended drugs were exclusively new, patented and expensive and were selected by persons with financial ties to pharma; and the claims of increased efficacy and safety made by the drug companies and state employees, were contradicted by the available science.

These same sentiments had already been expressed in January 1999, by Peter Weiden, MD, one of the participants in the "Expert Consensus," when he openly criticized the process in the Journal of Practice in Psychiatry and Behavioural Health:

"The most important weakness of the EC Guidelines is that the recommendations are based on opinions, not data. History shows that experts' opinions about "best" treatments have frequently been disproved, and there is no assurance that what the experts recommend is actually the best treatment. One danger here is that clinicians or administrators may misinterpret "current consensus" as truth.

"Another limitation involves the development of the survey itself. Treatment options are limited to those items appearing on the questions, and it was not possible to cover all situations.

"Another problem is potential bias from funding sources. The 1996 Guidelines were funded by Janssen (makers of Risperidone [Risperdal]) and most of the guidelines' authors have received support from the pharmaceutical industry. This potential conflict of interest may create credibility problems, especially concerning any recommendations supporting the use of atypical antipsychotics."

Jones discovered this type of conflict of interest with certain Pennsylvania employees who had been paid honorariums of up to $2,000 for speaking at pharma sponsored events in their official capacities. "It is illegal for a public employee to accept honorariums and to consult with industry without permission, yet it was happening openly," Jones said.

When he tried to investigate the matter, "I was told that pharmaceutical companies are major political contributors and that I should not continue my probe," he said. "I was effectively threatened with loss of job, career and reputation, if I continued to investigate the pharmaceutical companies."

But Jones did continue to investigate and found that Janssen and Pfizer had been actively courting Steve Fiorello, Pennsylvania's state pharmacist. Each company had paid Fiorello as a consultant, treated him to travel accommodations, and provided him with educational grants to promote PENNMAP.

Then there was Gerald Radke, a former marketing director for Eli Lilly, who was appointed deputy secretary of OMHSAS, by then Governor Ridge. Radke's predecessor, Charles Currie, was also appointed Ridge, but "when Bush became president, he tapped Currie to head SAMSHA, the National Mental Health Entity," Jones explained, and then Ridge "appointed Radke from the Bush-friendly Eli Lilly."

According to Jones, Pennsylvania doctors also benefited through "trips, perks, honorariums, name in print, ego stroked, and potential advancement." For instance, the medical director of the Mental Health and Substance Abuse office, Steven Karp, left his position in state government to join the Texas group promoting the TMAP model in Florida.

Throughout his investigation, his superiors at the OIG "maintained a deliberate ignorance of what was going on," Jones reports, "they did not want to know," he said.

His boss said the Department of Welfare (DPW) had to know what was going on, but "drug companies write checks to both sides of the aisle and that my concerns would go nowhere" Jones reports.

When he approached his boss for advice on preserving the record, Jones was told to back off and prepare a summary of his concerns so that when the investigation was over they could give it to the DPW. Although his boss acknowledged that the DPW would do nothing, he said that "if the shit hit the fan, they could say here, we told you."

In 2002, Jones finally went to The New York Times with information about drug company Janssen's attempt to influence Pennsylvania employees during the formation of PENNMAP.

Not too long afterwards, Jones was pulled off the investigation and he eventually did lose his job as well. His assistant, Katy Butler, took over as lead investigator and closed the case without ever disclosing the evidence of misconduct that Jones had filed in his report.

However, getting the boot has not deterred him. Jones has continued to investigate the matter as a private citizen and, in November 2002, filed a lawsuit to preserve his right to speak about the influence of pharma on the treatment of patients in state institutions.

Could Terri be a sign: What’s in a Name?!

The events taking place down in Pinellas Park County, Florida this last week have disturbed me and my family greatly.  We’ve tried to do our part by praying for Terri and for her family, by calling Senators offices, by signing web petitions and by writing President Bush in behalf of Terri Schiavo.  But at this point, it all seems to be of no avail.  We can hardly believe our eyes and ears, as it appears that we are literally witnessing the barbarous state-sanctioned homicide of an innocent human being.

As we’ve been praying for Terri, I believe that Yahweh dropped a thought into my mind… that is, could Terri Schiavo’s state-sanctioned murder be sign to us, in Moshiach’s body?… And if so, could it be that her very name is reflective of that sign?  What follows are my thoughts on the matter.

TERRY: Diminutive of Theresa, "harvest". Variants include Terri and Teri.

TERESA- Gender: (female) Origin: Spanish Meaning: “Harvester”.

Schindel- Origins: German… Spelling variations include: Schindler, Schindlers, Schindel, Schindelin and many more.

First found in Bohemia, where the name emerged in medieval times as one of the notable families of the region.

One internet commentator suspects the name ‘Schindler’ might be related to the Hebrew name ‘Sharon’ [a plain for feeding flocks [Yeshayahu 65:2].  Therefore, could Terri [harvest/harvester] Schindler [Sharon] be a figurative “plain” or medium- if you will- by which Yah’s flocks will yet be further separated in our nation.  Could her name- in connection with this horrendous event- be a sign that the “harvesting” has begun in earnest?!  If so, then it will all ultimately lead to His flocks passage to a literal plain of safety in Eretz Yisrael; a place of refuge during the hour of trial and tribulation (see Yeshayahu 65:10)

WASH—Mar 24—KIN—Once considered the bastion of life and liberty, the United States Thursday took a giant step toward becoming part of the life-and-death-controlling one world government as prophesied in Revelation, the apocalyptic book of the Bible. The U.S. Supreme Court refused to stay what many are saying is the public murder of brain damaged Florida woman, Terri Schiavo, and in doing so set a very public legal precedent for mercy killings, eerily similar what the Nazis used to justify exterminating the Jewish people and to the language the U.N. is currently drafting for an international human rights treaty.

With these things in mind, let us now go on to the surname ‘Schiavo’.  The following internet resource was written in Italian concerning the origins and diffuseness of this particualr Italian surname, Schiavo.  However, the operative statement regarding its meaning has been translated into English and highlighted in red letters:

Coincidently, this concept of ‘Terri’ or ‘Terry’ [harvest/harvester] seems to be reinforced by the prominent participation of the Schindler Family Spokesman, Randall Terry (a nationally recognized pro-life spokesperson).  His name would seem to lend itself as a second witness to the idea that a ‘sign’ is being given.  Thus, I believe that his name should also bear some scrutiny.

Randall- Origin: Old English

Meaning:  a “wolf shield”… another source equates its equivalent, ‘Randal’, as being of Saxon origin and being a corruption of ‘Randulph’ meaning rein (pure), and ulph (help). 

Terry- “harvest/harvester”.

Thus, I believe that his name probably stands for his role as a protector- in this instance- of Terri and her family from the “wolves”.  Moreover, that his assistance may signify a “pure help” sent from Yah, and a further confirmation to the urgency of the hour… ergo ‘Terri/Terry’,  the ‘harvest/harvester’ is upon us.

For these reasons, I believe that there’s a strong connection between the horrendous crime being perpetrated upon Terri Schindler Schiavo and the following Scriptural admonitions pertaining to the latter days and given by Yahweh to His people so that they might choose life.  These are taken from the Torah and the Neviim:

4        If any of you be driven out to the farthest parts of the shamayim, from there will Yahweh Your Elohim gather you, and from there will He fetch you:

5        And Yahweh Your Elohim will bring you into the land that your ahvot possessed, and you shall possess it…

15        See I have set before you this day chayim and tov, and death and evil…

19  I call the shamayim and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you chayim and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose chayim, that both you and your zera may live.

Isaiah 65

2   I have spread out My hands all the day to a rebellious people, who walk in a halacha that was not tov, after their own thoughts;

3  A people that provokes Me to anger continually to My face; that sacrifices in gardens, and burns incense upon altars of brick;

4  Who remain among the graves, and lodge in the monuments [Netsarim], which eat swine’s flesh, and the broth of unclean meat is in their vessels;

5  Who say, Stand by yourself, come not near me; for I am more tzadik than you.  These people are a smoke in my nose, a fire that burns all the day. 

6  See, it is written before Me: I will not keep silent, but will repay, even recompense into their bosom,

7  Your iniquities, and the iniquities of your ahvot together, says Yahweh, who have burned incense upon mountains, and blasphemed me upon the hills; therefore will I measure their former work and send it back into their bosom. 

8  This says Yahweh, As the new wine is found in the cluster, and one says, Destroy it not; for a bracha is in it: so will I do for My avadim’s sakes, that I may not destroy them all. 

9  And I will bring forth a zera out of Yaakov, and out of Yahudah an heir of My mountains: and My chosen ones shall inherit it, and My avadim shall live there. 

10  And Sharon [a plain] shall be for a fold of flocks, and the Valley of Achor [of Trial/Tribulation] a place for the herds to lie down in, for My people that have sought Me. 

11  But you are they that forsake Yahweh, that forget My set-apart mountain, that prepare a table for G-d, and that furnish the drink offering to Mani (Luck). 

12  Therefore will I number you to the sword, and you shall all bow down to the slaughter: because when I called you did not asnswer; when I spoke, you did not shema; but did evil before My eyes, and chose that in which I did not delight. 

13  Therefore, this says the Master Yahweh, See, My avadim (servants, slaves [schiavos]) shall eat, but you shall be hungry: see, My avadim (servants, slave [schiavos]) shall drink, but you shall be thirsty: see, My avadim shall simcha, but you shall be ashamed: 

14  See, My avadim shall shir for simcha of lev, but you shall cry for sorrow of lev, and shall wail for breaking of ruach….

17  … see, I create a renewed shamayim and a renewed earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind. 

18  But gilah and simcha le-olam-va-ed in that which I recreate: for, see, I recreate Yahrushalayim for rejoicing, and her people for simcha. 

19  And I will simcha in Yahrushalayim, and simcha in Ami-My People: and the voice of weeping  shall be no more be heard in her, nor the voice of crying.

Terri…        Harvest/Harvester [a sign of the imminent harvesting                 process, and of its extremely critical nature!]

Schindler… Sharon (a plain)… [figuratively: a critical gathering place at this time for Yahweh’s avadim]

Schiavo…    a slave/servant [Yahweh’s avadim/bond slaves must stand for righteousness!]

Randall… a “wolf-shield”/“pure help” [a picture of our Holy Moshiach Yahshua’s role in shielding and defending us from both the enemies within and without]

Terry…  Harvest/Harvester [again… testifies to the imminent harvesting process]

Could Terri Schindler Schiavo’s case serve as a sign given to those who’ll have eyes to see and ears to hear regarding the lateness of the hour?  Is she, somehow, serving as an identifiable rallying point [a figurative gathering plain] for the servants of Yah in preparation for the imminent war that will be waged upon us by the New World Order and its culture of death?  Could she and the events surrounding her be sign to us that the endtime “harvest” has begun in earnest???  I very much believe so!

Brothers and sisters… if we have felt any ambivalence or apathy while witnessing the events which have transpired during this last week in Pinellas Park County, Florida, then let us repent of this sin!  Let it not be said of us, that which was prophetically uttered regarding the evil generation which would be prevalent in these final days…

For thus was it inspired of Yahweh and spoken by the prophet Yirmeyahu:

“And death shall be chosen rather than chayim by all the residue of them that remain of this evil mishpacha, which remains in all places where I have driven them, say Yahweh tzevaoth.” (Yirmeyahu 9:3)

…therefore choose chayim, that both you and your zera may live.  [Devarim 30:19]
