There always have trap in the beautiful stuff, like women...
10.Narcissus
These cheerful yellow and white harbingers of spring, aka daffodils and jonquils, are actually mildly toxic if the bulbs are eaten in large quantities (Narcissus pseudonarcissus is shown). Some people confuse them for onions. Daffodil bulb diners tend to experience nausea, vomiting, cramps and diarrhea. A doctor might recommend intravenous hydration and/or drugs to stave off nausea and vomiting if symptoms are severe or the patient is a child.
9.Rhododendron
Rhododendrons and azalea bushes (a variety of rhododendron), with their bell-shaped flowers, look great in the yard come springtime, but the leaves are toxic and so is honey made from the flower nectar. Eating either from these evergreen shrubs makes your mouth burn , and then you'll probably experienced increased salivation, vomiting, diarrhea and a tingling sensation in the skin. Headaches, weak muscles and dim vision could follow. Your heart rate could slow down or beat strangely, and you might even drop into a coma and undergo fatal convulsions. Before that, doctors will try to replace your fluids and help you breath more easily and administer drugs to bring back your normal heart rhythm8.Ficus
Also known as weeping fig, benjamin tree, or small-leaved
rubber plants, all ficus have milky sap in their leaves and stems that is toxic. There are about 800 species of ficus trees, shrubs and vines (Ficus benjamina is shown), many of which are cultivated indoors in pots and tubs and outdoors in warm areas where some varieties can grow to up to 75 feet tall. The worst that will happen is your skin will itch and puff up and your doctor will give you something for the allergy or the inflammation.
7.Oleander
Every bit of the oleander plant is toxic, unlike the case for
other plants where just the flower or sap might be poisonous. Even accidental inhalation of the smoke from burning oleander is a problem. Other trouble comes from using the sticks for weenie or marshmallow roasts or drinking water in which the clusters of red, pink or white flowers have been placed. These evergreen shrubs (Nerium oleander is shown) are common as tub plants or in gardens in the Southwest and California, any locale that approaches the plant's native Mediterranean climate. Typically the symptoms involve a change in heart rate, be it a slow down or palpitations or high potassium levels. A doctor might prescribe a drug to bring your heartbeat back under control and try to induce vomiting with ipecac, pump your stomach or absorb the toxin with ingested charcoal.
6.Chrysanthemum
Also known as mums, orange and yellow varieties of these showy flowers often turn up in foil-wrapped pots on people's front steps around Halloween and Thanksgiving. There are 100 to 200 species of Chrysanthemums, and they generally grow low to the ground, but can turn into shrubs. Gardeners plant mums to keep rabbits away. Guess what? The flower heads are somewhat toxic to humans too. But not terribly. Touching them can make you itch and puff up a bit, but probably the doctor will just give you something for the inflammation and allergic reaction.
5.Anthurium
The leaves and stems of these bizarre-looking plants, with dark green, heart-shaped leathery leaves and a scarlet,
white or green spike surrounded by a red, pink or white "spathe," are toxic. Also known as flamingo flowers or pigtail plants, eating tropical Anthuriums could give you a painful burning sensation in the mouth that then swells and
blisters. Your voice might also become hoarse and strained and you might have difficulty swallowing. Most of this will fade with time, but cool liquids, pain pills and gluey herbs and foods like licorice or flaxseeds may bring relief.
4.Lily-of-the-valley
These darling droopers, also known as mayflowers, are entirely poisonous, from the tips of their tiny bell-shaped white flowers that coyly fall off like parted hair to the very water in which they might be placed. A little bit of Lily-of-the-valley (Convallaria majalis) probably won't hurt much, but if you eat a lot, you'll probably experience
nausea, vomiting, pain in the mouth, abdominal pain,
diarrhea and cramps. Your heart rate might also become slow or irregular. A doctor might decide to clean out your stomach by pumping it or feeding you absorbing charcoal, and might give you drugs to bring your heart rate back to normal.
3.Hydrangea
These poofy-flowered bushes (Hydrangea macrophylla) are popular yard ornaments that can grow up to 15 feet tall with rose, deep blue or greenish-white flowers that grow in huge clusters and look as edible as cotton candy or a big bun to an imaginative mind. But those blooms will give you a belly ache that sets in sometimes hours after eaten. Typically, patients also experience itchy skin, vomiting, weakness and sweating. Some reports indicate that patients can even experience coma, convulsions and a
breakdown in the body's blood circulation. Luckily, there is an antidote for hydrangea poisoning, and doctors might also give you drugs to address to ease your symptoms.
2.Foxglove
Foxglove is a magical looking plant that grows to 3 feet tall with drooping purple, pink or white flowers, sometimes dotted inside, along a central stalk. Its Latin name is Digitalis purpurea, which might sound familiar; leaves from the plant are a commercial source of the heart drug digitalis. If you eat any part of these plants in the wild, you too will likely have heart problems after a spell of nausea, vomiting, cramps, diarrhea and pain in the mouth. A doctor might administer charcoal to absorb the toxin or pump
your stomach, and might also administer drugs to bring your heart rate back to normal. Other names for this plant include fairy bells, rabbit flower, throatwort and witches' thimbles.
1.Wisteria
Wisterias form romantic cascades of sweetpea-like flowers that fall in lush blue, pink or white masses from woody vines that grow mainly in the South and Southwest. The entire plant, also known as a kidney bean tree, is toxic, though some say the flowers are not. Better safe than sorry, because most reports are that eating this plant will cause nausea, vomiting, cramps and diarrhea that could require treatments such as intravenous hydration and anti-nausea pills.

Sneaker companies are always looking for new ideas and inspiration to give their shoes an edge over the competitors. JB Classics SDM uses the medieval era as its source of inspiration and uses a basket-woven and leather as the upper of shoe. Continuing with the medieval theme, a mace logo, herringbone heel and black and red lace locks complete the shoe and also includes extra laces, certificate of ownership and a JB Cinch box bag. Modu - lightest mobile phone
The Guinness World Record for the world’s lightest mobile phone has been awarded to Modu for its tiny mobile phone. Modu is a compact cellphone with 1GB of internal memory, although the main device itself only has rudimentary controls: a joystick, a handful of buttons and a small display. It weighs just 40.1 g. Impressive uh ? More about this concept on Articole Telefoane. On this note, if you are in Romania we recommend Telefoane Sony Ericsson and Telefoane si Gps .

The MASTER'S CARD

The results of your Spiritual Gifts Inventory indicate that your number one dominant gift is MERCY SHOWING! The Greek word "ellco" means to feel sympathy with or for others. As a mercy-shower you have the Spirit-given capacity and desire to serve God by identifying with and comforting those who are in distress. You understand and comfort your fellow Christian. You enter into the grief or happiness of others and have the ability to show empathy which is to feel WITH others, not just for others.
The results of your Spiritual Gifts Inventory indicate that your second dominant gift is EVANGELISM! That does not necessarily mean you are supposed to travel the world, preaching the Gospel. The Greek word "Euangelistes" means to proclaim glad tidings, a messenger of good. It denotes a proclaimer of the Gospel. The evangelist can either be a preacher who stands before a crowd, imploring them to be saved, or perhaps an individual sitting in a living room or on a plane, trying to persuade someone to accept Christ. As an evangelist you have the Spirit-given capacity and desire to serve God by leading people who are beyond your natural sphere of influence to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. You are sometimes classified as the aggressive soulwinner who seeks the lost.
The results of your Spiritual Gifts Inventory indicate that your second dominant gift is TEACHING! The Greek word for teacher "didaskalos" means master, teacher or doctor. As a teacher you are one who communicates knowledge, guides, makes known or relays facts. You are likely more in-depth than the average Sunday school teacher. You have the Spirit-given capacity and desire to serve God by making clear the truth of God's Word with accuracy.

The results of your Spiritual Gifts Inventory indicate that your number one dominant gift is ADMINISTRATION! The Greek word "kubernesis" means one who steers a ship. This expert had the responsibility to bring a ship into the harbor through the rocks and shoals, under all types of pressures. As an administrator you have the Spirit-given capacity and desire to serve God by organizing, administering, promoting, and leading the various affairs of the church. The administrator is not a glorified file clerk.
The results of your Spiritual Gifts Inventory indicate that your second dominant gift is EXHORTATION! The Greek word "parakaleo" means to admonish, to encourage, to beseech. You are a "how to" person. You have the Spirit-given capacity and desire to serve God by motivating others to action by urging them to pursue a course of conduct. In a teaching position, you are able to explain how to apply God's Word. Your goal is to present material that enables the Holy Spirit to promote change in the student's life. You reach out and help Christians become more mature.

WHY? Some of Life’s Most Puzzling Questions

It's scary how beautiful and dangerous things can be, at the same time.
Is there a reason you left off Datura stramonium? When ingested it puts people into a delirious state, and the potential for overdose is very high.
The trumpet shaped flowers are very enchanting and beautiful to me.
These are certainly not the top ten poisonous plants. The ewe bush is extremely deadly if ingested, as is the toadstool (ok technically it is a fungus), which are both rather common. Your information and title are misleading.
I agree with Matt. What about Morning Glories or Diffenbachia?
Another big toxic plants list
http://www.dog-first-aid-101.com/toxic-garden-plants.html
you forgot the gifblaar!
i drink chrysanthemum tea.
all the time. so do millions of people.
hemlock, anyone?
Agreed. These are far from the most toxic plants, even among commonly encountered plants. Hell, you even left off "deadly nightshade."
There are far nastier plants, plants that will not make you sick at first, but will cause you to die of cancer in the next few years. By the time you do get sick there is little that can be done for you and not much chance that you will ever figure out what killed you.
For obvious reasons I will not mention the exact name of this very ancient family of plants.
Don't forget the castor bean. That's where ricin comes from.
Silly article, ficus makes you itch? wow...deadly plant man.

Medicinal use
Chrysanthemum tea has many purported medicinal uses, including an aid in recovery from influenza and as a "cooling" herb. According to traditional Chinese medicine the tisane can aid in the prevention of sore throat and promote the reduction of fever. In western herbal medicine, Chrysanthemum tea is drunk and used as a compress to treat circulatory disorders such as varicose veins and atherosclerosis.
Better tell Prakartkiet and the other few million people to stop drinking "One of the top ten poisonous plants".
Or change the title to "Beautiful but might be poisonous to you if you have an allergy to it, more common slightly Poisonous Plants"
Sure, which is beautiful that is toxic in the most cases. This is the same in the life too.
Yes Its same as Beautiful Girls !! They are also Toxic
First of all, who would eat flowers? I know there are people who do but those people already know what CAN BE eaten and what may not be or should not be eaten.
They should have labeled this Most Poisonous Flowers, not plants. There are many plants that are far more poisonous.
I present the Cicuta plant.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cicuta
The most poisonous plant in North America.
No pain in the mouth, no dim vision... just violent convulsions and death.
Mountain laurel
What's the criteria for the ordering? My kids, unwittingly, have been chewing on the leaves of Wisteria outside our back door with no ill effects. Shouldn't they be sick seeing as Wisteria is listed at no 1 while Oleander is listed at no 7? My research seems to indicate that it's only the seeds of the Wisteria which are poisonous. Why isn't that mentioned?
This article seems like little more than a shameless copy of the livescience.com article that it references. I haven't seen the book "Handbook of Poisonous and Injurious Plants" that that page in turn references but I hope that's more authoritative.
As so many other comments here mention, the absence of so many other much more toxic plants (eg, Datura, Ricinus, etc) really makes this page quite misleading, if not worthless.
This was one of the most uninformative and misleading pages ever. These are NOT the most toxic, Hemlock, Nightshade, BLACK HENBANE are very poisonous and deadly. People have died from eaten but a little of these plants.
I have actually eaten many of theses plants as a child with no ill effect
