From the mists of time, women used to gather to share their knowledge and experiences, to provide emotional support, and to work with the sacred healing energies of the Divine Feminine – the Goddess.
Over the millenniums, cross various cultures the Goddess was and still is known by a myriad of names – Isis, Brigid, Al-Lat, Sophia, Kali-Ma, Hekate, Mary, White Buffalo Woman, Freya, Hathor, Yemaya, Chang-O, Kuan Yin, Wawalag Sisters . . . each a sacred feminine archetype.
To honour the Goddess is to honour the Sacred and Divine Feminine. By acknowledging and accepting the Goddess as the Divine Feminine, we allow the way to be opened to a deeper understanding of not only Deity, but ourselves and everything else in the Universe.
The Goddess House is based in Adelaide, South Australia and from time to time runs workshops on various aspects of the Goddess, the Divine Feminine. More information about this workshops and other resources can be found - http://www.templedarkmoon.com/ghouse.htm.
This Yahoo group is set up to also share information about the Goddess - does She touch your soul? Then join with us - share your stories and we endeavour to bring the Divine Feminine back into our lives for it is said that for women, the image of the Divine Feminine is first and foremost a model of empowered selfhood.
Goddess Bless.
