Re: GSR K-frame--gear box cross member, different to jumbuck

Hi Dave
I had a look at the GTi suspension over the weekend and it's the same
as the jumbuck,except for the sway bar links which connects to the
struts on the gti and not to the lower arms like the jumbuck.
The only way to use the GSR gearbox is to change the K-Frame from your
gsr cut. You can fit FWD boxes in the gsr frame but not a gsr box in
the FWD frames.The sway bar in the gsr I believe connects to the lower
arms, same as the jumbuck. That poses a problem for me as I did not
know the difference before,I will have to find a K-frame or stay FWD
with the GTi box I have,but I would need to buy a new clutch and
pressure plate again and waste the $400 bucks I spent on the gsr
clutch.Ahh the beauty of being able to buy a full half cut..
You have probably worked all this out by now,Let me know..
