Hi Benny No I haven't actually tried to activate it yet.It was hitting on a screw tab that holds a cover plate on the back of the fan,it just covers the wire connections to the fan motor, but I was able to bend it at right angles out of the way which will give me about 15mm clearance, and thanks I will test it first. More pics up. Regards Neil

hey neil,
when i did it to my coupe some time ago i had the same problem with the gsr turbo with the actuator... have you tested it to see if it can fully open... mine didn't and i had to do some more mods too it
Hi Guys Well I haven't advanced much over the last 4 days There is no way I can run my intercooler piping over the stainless steel xforce extractors I had planed to use,so I have had to resort back to using the stock exhaust manifold which wasn't prepared,I have had to port the manifold out to suit everything else and the stock heat shield was cracked so I have had to patch repair that and paint everything with heat proof paint and I have spent 2 days trying to fix my brother-in-laws tig welder because the high freq,is playing up when trying to weld aluminium and then I have had trouble fitting the radiator and air con fan. The gsr air con fan won't fit between the intercooler and condenser,so I had to use a GTi fan which bolts on the engine bay side and was hitting on a few things in places so I have had to do some mods to the fan cowl to squeeze it in,and boy it is a squeeze. Got some more pics up and
haven't had any time yet on the wiring.Keep ya posted. Regards neil
