Hi Guys
I have just had a mate drop bye after haveing a blown head gasket
replaced on his Jumbuck. He has done 38,000 ks and was told by the
service centre machanic that it is a common problem with them around
40,000 ks. Has anyone else had this happen, and can it be
prevented,say by re-tensioning the head before then.(this is something
they don't seem to do these days with new cars???)
Any other thoughts on this.
I have only done 15,000ks in 2 years and will well and truly be out of
warrenty at 40k. That could be quite and expence if it is common.
Whats your thoughts guys,anyone else confirm this problem.
