Just how many Jumbucks would 1 service centre see, especially with more
than 40 000km on them.. Given the number of Jumbucks sold each year, I
doubt any repair/fault could be called common!
In response to your other query, modern engines use torque to yield head
bolts. This means they are torqued to a given value then turned a
further 1/4 or 1/2 turn( depending on manufacturer/ design) As such,
head bolts cannot be re-torqued. The bolts must be replaced whenever the
head is removed. Head gaskets are designed for this method. Having said
all that, I don't know whether Proton use this method.
