I have just had a mate drop bye after haveing a blown head gasket
replaced on his Jumbuck. He has done 38,000 ks and was told by the
service centre machanic that it is a common problem with them around
40,000 ks. Has anyone else had this happen, and can it be
prevented, say by re-tensioning the head before then.(this is something
they don't seem to do these days with new cars???)
Any other thoughts on this.
I have only done 15,000ks in 2 years and will well and truly be out of
warrenty at 40k. That could be quite and expence if it is common.
Whats your thoughts guys, anyone else confirm this problem.
Regards Neil
