Re: [Jumbuck] Noisy brakes?

Hi Matt
Yes my rear brakes do the same, just as you are pulling up at lights or stop sighns,it drives me nuts.I had our service centre have a look at my 10,000 service and they cleaned all the break shoe dust out of the drum and they were fine for about 2month but it has come back and so far I haven't had time to do it again.but I will have too soon,It does drive you crazy its quite loud.
regards Neil

Hi there..

Has anyone else had problems with a noise coming from the rear
wheels when slowing down to a set of lights or intersection?

mine sounds like squeaky springs or brakes, but cant quite pick it.

It sounds like an 20 year old falcon ute pulling up to the lights.

And also has anyone thought about upgraded rear brakes from drum to
disc like on RPW site
